How to fill crown molding joints

  • Part 2 of the Finish work on our kitchen crown molding in our 1867-year-old home. FYI- Ca glue didn't work too well on pine wood so I used regular wood glue instead on the scarf joints. Wood glue can be bought here on amazon: amzn.to/2HnAOAk

    Why do you cut your scarf joints at 22.5? Do you find they are easier to glue/fill or just seem less noticeable at the end of the day? Thanks! I love the bondo spreader tip!

      It really dont matter what its cut at, I think it gives it more to grab when you glue it and nail it.

      no, just use a 180 grit or finer, not to ruff of sand paper
