  • Puppy training is SOOO much more than just teaching obedience, tricks or having lots of playtime.
We always talk with our puppy clients about all the ways they can help to set themselves, those who will be included in their pups life and their puppy up for a less stressful and more successful life together.
HINT it involves more than just teaching sit, down, shake, etc.
Some of the biggest issues we see and help with in training adult dogs for:
    🔸 Nail trims
🔸 Handling / Examining / restraint (Vet, groomer or at home)
    🔸 Bath time
    🔸 Brushing
It all boils down to dogs who are uncooperative / uncomfortable with being held, pet, handled, restrained, having their body manipulated, etc.
EVEN some of the most happy-go-lucky and friendly pups and dogs we know that love everyone are less than cooperative for basic handling, restraint and care and that is a big problem!
Something that is so “fun” and easy to work on when your dog is a little puppy that sadly we never see enough practice of or emphasis being made by professionals in the pet industry.
How much less stress would be involved for everyone of your puppy learned to be stable, confident and cooperative for simple things like eyes, ears, paws, pinches, tail, etc. BEFORE they got to be 40, 50 or 100+ pounds?
YOU would be happier and less stressed.
Your dog would be happier and less stressed.
The vet, groomer, pet sitter, family members, boarding facility and everyone else involved with your dog throughout their lifetime would be happier and less stressed.
Please help us spread the word about being proactive and teaching pet owners everywhere that basic training and raising of a happy, healthy and well rounded dog (from a puppy) is so important and needs more than just basic obedience, fun tricks and playtime.
Viktor will be a big boy and all of our little fun training sessions working on everything NOW while he is little will make him a comfortable and cooperative participant in anything we do with him when he is full grown!
