Sharing our new Samsung Electric Clothes dryer that we just purchased replacing our old Samsung Clothes dryer.

We just bought exact same dryer you show. We do not like the fact that you cannot change the temperature when it’s in a normal drying cycle

I found I had to use the dryness function to dry all the clothing.

@@netman88 Everything seems to be preset Except the time dry. I think Samsung needs to give us more control over how we set the dryer. Just my thought

Purchased this exact Samsung model on 3/24/23 and today (10/2/23), which is just barely over 6 months, it stopped working!! The drum does not spin when you turn it on which leads me to believe it may be a belt(?). Fortunately I bought the extended warranty. Called the Samsung Care number and they seemed like they were willing to get it fixed. The warranty is managed by Assurant Service Protection Inc which per Trustpilot reviews has a 21% one star rating. This is not looking good. The installation guys made a comment when they installed it that it will be easy to take out of the laundry closet when they have to replace it, meaning these appliances are not reliable and they often have to return to replace them. Do not buy Samsung laundry appliances.

Ask your wife what settings she put the dryer for wet towels?? My wife wants her nice and hot and dry.

Just use normal dry for towels. Increase the time to dry as needed. I assume it's wet but no water dripping from the towels.

Why the dryer running but not heating up?

Could be the heating element or the lint build up on the vent system.
