It's not wei ying fault that he doesn't understand lan zhan's love for him. Seens childhood he knows and thought that if you need someone's love then you have to pay the prise for it and wei ying always tried to come closer to lan zhan from the start but lan zhan just didn't let him and started fights. I just don't understand how do these guys expect wei ying to believe on anyone even lan zhan after what happened to him seen childhood to now. I hate it when they think he's blind because he can't understand lan zhan's feeling i mean what do you expect wei ying is not a mind reader. If you all understand lan zhan's feeling then just tell wei ying other then telling him 'can't you see' because even if someone else would be their instead of wei ying he will also think that lan zhan just hate him because he was always annoyed by him.😢❤

The thing is, Wei Ying IS a little blind. Lan Zhan was the ONLY person who was by his side at all times, protecting him from other clans, trying to keep WWX's cultivation under control. WWX not realizing that is a little stupid. Yes, it is understandable that he would not realize fully what it is. But WWX hurt LWJ too, LWJ also suffered in his childhood, he wasn't ALOWED to FEEL. Because it was against those stupid rules. When The twins mother died, LWJ couldn't grieve because it was against the rules. When Lan xichen says wwx was the only mistake lwj ever committed, he was right.
I've been feeling the same since I read the novel! It's not WY's fault that he thought LZ hated him. First, LZ never expressed himself properly to WY. Second thing is that everybody around WY said that LZ hated him and LZ never did anything to change that (he probably wasn't even aware of it bcz gossip is forbidden)! You pine and pine silently and expect another to understand you?! It's ridiculous no matter how I see it.
i hate that they make wei ying seem like the bad guy when it comes to seeing lan zhan feelings. like dude lan zhan always started fights and arguments with wei ying & always said the wrong thing like come on clear up the misunderstanding if you want your beloved to know how you feel!!!

I'm a bit mad yk cause I feel like they don't have the rights to blame wei ying or call him blind for not understanding lan zhan's feelings when they know nothing of their relationship, the deep misunderstanding between them, the reason behind wei ying's believe lan zhan hates him (like lan zhan bit him, lan zhan also did say he hates him once - in xuanwu cave, unless i remembered it wrong, lan zhan's frequent anger mode when dealing with his teasing self (which is understandable sometimes), people around him saying that lan zhan hates him.
This perception of lan zhan hating him is strengthen by lan zhan's seemingly hatred of his dark cultivation (in his perspective) which is caused by lan zhan's inability to find the right words to not trigger wei ying's temper when he brought up wei ying's ghostly cultivation, causing wei ying to rebuff him for he believe the opposite of what lan zhan wants to do, which was to protect him. (It's a cultivation method he harnessed in the f-ing burial mounds to to survive and escape. Hell, it's the only path available for him. Ofc, yllz wei ying become easily defensive and furious when anyone brought up his sword/cultivation. It's difficult for anyone to understand his anger when he's tight-lipped about the golden core removal and the 3 hellish months he spent in freaking burial mounds - which is understandable).
Honestly, the blame fall on both. They hurt each other. Both of them lacked communication and understanding of each other because they barely knew each other (in the novel, they are acquaintances at most, unlike in cql) and this caused tons of misunderstandings between them. Both of them were at fault for the fragile relationship they had - Wwx believe that their relationship are neither good or bad when he was revived, he also run away from lan zhan because lan zhan was one of the person who was against him in the past (yes, lan zhan wanted to protect wei ying, but it still doesn't get rid of the fact that in trying to talk wei ying into stopping from doing ghostly cultivation, and engaging in a fight with him and saying he was losing control while the sects was trying to kill him, he is against him - albeit powered by love, which wei ying don't have a clue - he could have if lan zhan don't make wei ying defensive with his poor wording or if wei ying could reign in his temper to not make assumptions).
Back to the video, Inderstand getting annoyed with wei ying for bringing up the 'lan zhan hates me' more than once tho, like I love wei ying with all my heart but wei ying needs to stop bringing up that lan zhan hates him and tried to silently analysed what are being shown using his brilliant mind or else I'll screamed into my pillow out of sheer frustration 'cause yllz wwx sometimes caused me to have the same reaction as what mxy wwx felt when seeing his yllz self. Ugh, who am I kidding, wei ying is frankly terrible at seeing how much he matters to people that cares about him. I'm angry that I can't even be mad at him for this without feeling sad at the same time, so it's not surprising that he rejects the idea of lan zhan deeply caring about him when the only true, honest love he had ever feel comes from jiang yanli and his parents (who he don' freaking remember). Heck, even jiang yanli don't always protect or choose him, so, yeah, lan zhan who is basically someone he considers an acquaintance turned someone who hates him doing all of this for him is just unreal in his eyes. So, in yllz wwx stubborn way, he refused to accept the truth that is being shown. That's what I interpreted from watching these two videos so far lmao.
Anyway, is it just me but I feel scared of wei ying's reaction once he fully accepts that lan zhan did these for him? Knowing him, after realising how much he hurt lan zhan because he misunderstand him and that the lans (lan zhan's family) gave a heavy, scarring punishment to lan zhan just because of how far lan zhan was willing to go just to protect him, would probably cause him to have a break down. The break down would probably be worse if he realised how much lan zhan matters to him too.

Reading comments in many wangxian videos on top of reading wangxian fics where those two kept misunderstands each other again and again just got to me finally. And well, as someone whose personality and communication skills are more like lan zhan, solely blaming wei ying for not realising lan zhan's feelings in certain fics got me annoyed ig.

Eu espero que você mostre ou explique porque wwx pensa que lwj não o ama. Wwx nunca recebeu amor incondicional e sempre era esperado que ele pagasse para merecer mesmo o mínimo, ele cresceu ouvindo que os Jiang fizeram tudo por ele e que ele tinha que retribuir a "generosidade" (o que é uma mentira. O mínimo esperado quando você decide colocar uma criança na sua casa é garantir para ela comida, roupas e educação).
Eu espero não estar soando rude, é só que algumas pessoas parecem realmente esquecer como wwx viveu, como ele nunca percebeu (até toda a aventura após o renascimento) o quanto ele dar tanto de si para os outros e não receber nada fazia mal para ele. Uma única pessoa não pode sustentar um relacionamento, não faz bem e essa pessoa sempre acaba se machucando. Wwx é uma pessoa que se doa muito e foi condicionado a pensar que o importante não é o que ele quer e sim o que as pessoas com que ele se importa querem ou precisam.
Como na novel, durante o arco do recanto das nuvens, onde ele ignora completamente seus próprios sentimentos sobre o lugar para apaziguar jc e dizer que ele não deixaria lotus pier pelo recanto das nuvens, mas nós, como leitores, sabemos comparando o arco do recanto das nuvens e o extra da semente de lotus, que wwx estava mais livre na seita lan. No recanto das nuvens ele é mais livre com as palavras, brinca na linha entre as regras, ele se diverte. Diferente de quando está em yunmeng, onde ele está recebendo punições pelos outros e muito consciente de que ele não pertence realmente (madame yu adora lembrar, o chicotiando com zidian, falando mal da mãe morta de wwx e comentando sobre o quão problemático ele é [se você leu a novel direito, você sabe que ele realmente não é]).
Resumindo, wwx não é uma pessoa que pensa no que ele quer. Se você quiser e funcionar, você pode pensar no adolecente wwx como 15!Chuuya (bungou stray dogs), a cena do fliperama me deu deja vu de wwx e os jiang. Na única vez em que ele (chuuya) decidiu fazer algo que era de interesse dele, seus amigos reagem daquele jeito.
