There’s a mistranslation. Ririka’s not calling herself a “nice girl with good personality“, she’s saying she wants someone who is normally a very nice person that instead turns cold when they’re alone with her.
The translation is right. She is saying "even though I'm a nice girl with good personality, I want someone who is cold"

Ririka's type immediately made me think of that anime trope of a guy who is actually kind but pushes people away because he has been hurt. Like Hachiman Hikigaya or Houtarou Oreki.
Interesting, Hachiman from "Oregairu" is my favorite male MC, and still I did not think of him when Ririka said her type. I rather thought of typical "bad boy", and Hachiman is too intelligent, and wants "something genuine" instead of faking and putting social masks. Therefore, I think Hachiman would be unhappy with Ririka, because he would have to fake and put masks all the time around her.

I think I am the type of person she is describing, but I don't really do that to hurt people, so I am not sure if we mean the same thing. The "turning cold" thing, to me, it's more of a consequence of the fact that social interactions drain me, cause I feel like I need to put on a mask and be somebody else, which is exhausting. When I am with someone I trust a lot I really just want to shut down and turn any interaction to a minimum. To me that's a sign of intimacy, I don't do that as a form of manipulation or tactic, yet many girls have interpreted it that way and I haven't really been able to properly explain to them how I felt, so in the end we just ended up going our separate ways everytime. At the present time I try to actively avoid becoming too close to a girl, in a romantic sense, because I fear we might get to that stage again and I could end up hurting them. So me giving the "cold shoulder" now means that I feel like I am getting too close for comfort. I feel like I am never going to find someone to be with. If that's truly how she feels, it might be very hard for her to find a person to be with... I feel simpathy for her tbh.

Seriously tho, all of my relationships ended mostly cause I was "acting cold".
Actually many girls are into people that are cold towards them. When I was young I always wanted a girlfriend. But all girls felt my desperation and so none had interest. Then I read about that trick to be cold and pretend you're not interested. So I tried that out and after just a few weeks I actually had a girlfriend.
Though it did not feel right to me, pretending I'm someone else, so I eventually acted as myself again and showered her with love. Shortly after, she lost interest and left me.
Eventually I learned that my loving personality just doesn't fit to relationships and decided to just stay single and now I'm fairly happy being single.
Interesting, i wonder if in the world each human is like a piece of a puzzle (kinda like differents "loving personality" as you said), so in the ideal scenario you end up with that partner that is the "right" piece for you. If so all comes down to find that piece, but that's the difficult part, I mean the right piece to your live could be someone in Australia and you are from UK (as example) so is less probable, under normal or conventional conditions, that both will meet each other
