Prices in portugal are skyrocketing due to crisis and people moving there to live cheaper than in their homecountry, i just read in an article.
Congrats for getting the blackout cards out there. Everytime you launch an idea, a website or business it massively inspires me. Clicking that "button" is honestly the hardest part. I'm a massive perfectionist and find I don't launch anything I make because It never feels "good enough" to me, despite also realising my standards are higher than 99% of the population. The majority of my ideas are just stuck in a constant cycle of re-iteration 😮💨Watching you build and launch Wantfeed was a huge reason for one of the business' I started though and it changed my life in a massive way, so thank you.
Am looking forward to following your big adventure . I moved to Toronto a long time ago with two sons aged 8 and 13 .. For me emigrating when i was 29 was bitter sweet. I was homesick for many years and had it been just me, would have returned home after a few years. I came to realize no matter the wonderful things about ny new country , it was never home to me . Blighty was in my soul and I missed everything British. Then there were the downsides of my new country, like 6 months of real winter ..
But time waits for no man ( or woman ) and somehow I am a Grandmother and although I still fantasize about returning home,.I'm never going to live in another country from my children . I think there are those who emigrate and fully embrace their new country and never look back. And those whose hearts are never fully in either place..
Overall I have no doubt my children have fared better in Canada than they woud've done in England , present global madness aside ...but I do feel Europe woud've been a much better choice ! .. Very best wishes 💗
Do not worry about tge children. If you put them into the school system - they will be fluent in less than 1 year. I lived through that myself. Then I put one of my children into French school…same. Fluent under 1 year
Michalaks, If I ever need to purchase new luggage, I have been sold on Level8 because of your children having ridden them! Having grown up in Washington, DC, I know all about ending up at the same spots. As an American with a very short national history, the royal everything means to me your centuries of history. You have made me think; however, that our DC truly is a representation of all "We the People" have worked so hard for. (Plus, may I say I watch Parliament every Sunday, and my god is your system chaos! This was a Michalak film, they bring me to artistic tears they are so special.

Even without royalty that would not change. Look at other countries without royals. It‘s sadly not that easy to solve a problem like homelessness
Going to touristy areas with the “normies” reminds me why we explore smaller cities! But when we do go to London I will be checking out the bookshop!!!

I was lucky enough to perform there at Southbank in Queen Elizabeth Hall. Great experience, and I love the architecture, too. The DC Metro is also a brutalist wonderland :)

Hey guys, I moved 5 years ago from Bristol to Setubal (30 mins south of Lisbon ) with my then 5yr old boy and have looooaaads of info if you want to move to Arrábida coast area, on schools and transition for British kids. It’s amazing to be close to the capital but in a quieter city, about the same size as Bath. Let me know if you need any advice, I understand completely it’s a tough and brave choice ❤
