Voice lessons. All the greats who still sing and sound young at an older age take lessons to get better. Stevie, Brian, And even Bruno Mars has been doing that as he sings easier now and less strained. Chester from Linkin park had great technique as well, they all worked with Seth Riggs or someone with the same skills as a teacher to teach
Voice is unbelievable. You think it’s recording but it’s live. One of the best!

Although I agree. Brian never really hit peak popularity and although his talent is unmatched, he was never in high demand. Much easier to preserve your voice when you don't have to overuse it.

@@dsales2011 Brian is a very good singer to my ears, but just a decent vocalist (standard or “compwred to who” exist, no offense) Vocalist being the definition of a singer focusing on technique I would say Whitney Houston, Lara Fabian, David Phelps is better as a vocalist. The best vocalist in recorded history is of course hard to pinpoint. I would bet my money on the 27 yo Dimash Qudaibergen as one of them

I was blessed to see Brian McKnight in person here in my town. I was driving my Taxi at that time so immediately when his show was done I ran to the Hotel where he was staying I asked him would he please take a picture with me, and he said sure. It was great I was able to share it with my friends
Came here on 17/04/2024 for some nostalgic throwback. The list of incredible tracks this man has is insane.
Everytime I hear is classics it takes me right back to the 90s/early 2000s as a kid playing Nintendo & ps1 on a sat morning while my mum cleaned the house and played McKnight. RIP mum.

Flawless performance!! When you go back to his early performances of this song, you see the huge growth in how he sings it, and the emotion he puts into it. His playing is also so stunning, and this, too has evolved. My favorite performance of it is the Sirius XM from 2016. I have watched it many times, and will keep coming back to it. He sears my heart!
