I went to the Banda's in the 80's. Came home with a Cockatu. She lived for 35 years. Best islands I have ever visited.

I want to go there from Halmahera next year at this time, from the Philippines for diving, etc.. Isn't the only way to fly to Ambon, then by ferry? Is there a dive outfit there now? I've already been all over Indonesia on a motorcycle. But the Banda's are a "bucketlist" check-off.

It's such a good video tour guide because it is not only showing about what to do in Banda Island but also explains a short history about it. I think it might be better if he would tell the viewers how to get there by providing some steps and alternative tips to do before heading to Banda Island

I probably expect our Banda's had traveled along during occupation of the Portuguese and Arabic traders long before the Jan Pieterszoon Massacre. My genetic heredity follow the silk road path direct to Venice Italy.
