Its been great so far, i140 approved! but real scared if the hourly rate would be enough to earn a comfortable living as i intend running my MSN during the course of the 3 yrs contract. I really do hope i can afford that. For Direct hire....there is Kennedy Helthcare, they run a direct hire to Vibra hospitals, for those that r interested. Very good pay!!

hey, first off, congratulation for your NCLEX achievement and for your I-140 approval.
Hey I had the same concerns when I was back home, earning $24/hour raised a lot of concerns for me because of having a family and my wife was pregnant at that time. But if I learned something during the past year and a half in USA, I would tell you. Don't sweat it, everything will be alright. It is not a false reassurance, it is a reality. This is just the "immigrating to USA kinda stress and anxiety".

I have masters degree in nursing and more than 4 and half years of ICU experience in india. Im looking for a sponsership in USA. do u know any agencies who do sponsership for international nurses? Hi alphaslice, you mentioned about other nurses who was relocated to other hospital by your agency , do you know how long before they get their new assignment?
around 6 weeks, during that time Avant gave them modules on Lippincott and paid them minimal wage $8/hour

Thanks very much for all your efforts Sir, i wasn't aware of the solutions provided by staffing agency. I was about to start a bachelor in nursing here in the US, as a foreigner student but got worried with the majority of job offers requiring a citizenship. Do these agency only exist for nursing? What exactly do they do to circumvent the H1B sponsorship issue? Do they recruit in other fields like STEM too? Anyway, thanks for the enlightenment.
Hey man, listen when you graduate from nursing, I will share with you the companies that will get you a job and help you convert your H1B visa to EB3 visa. Companies recruit physical therapists and nurses

I also bought one of your course, the NCLEX webinar, and i basically want to follow your footsteps. I just started an accelerated nursing program here in the US (still as a foreign student), and God willing, i'll be done mid next year. Do you think i should still go through agencies? or should i try the direct application since that i'll be graduating from here? I talked to some agencies already to know about the process, but as you said, they'll probably cut a lot as their ROI. And with the debt i'm having to complete this program, i'll need some $$$. Thanks for your inspiration, your ideas, and hopefully i'll one day be able to help people the way you do.
@@sighange I think a direct hire will give you a good amount of orientation. Nursing school is different from practicing nursing. an agency will get you a job and that’s it. As a traveler, the hospital expects you to know what u re doing, they don’t really have time to train u. So if they see u don’t know what u re doing, they will fire u. If u find a direct hire I think u should go for it, your best bet will be taking to the hospital you do your clinicals in.

Hi Mo, I am currently looking for staffing companies, agencies to get help with my green card process. So far, I contacted with every kind of them. I just contacted a company which says it only provides direct hire to international nurses. The recruiter said everything's gonna be set once I get a job offer. The contract period is 3 years. In this case, do this company gets money directly from my future workplace, or does it only ask for initial cost at first? As far as I know direct hire is to be a regular staff and only staffing companies get money from hospitals during contract period. Such a company simply seems to be a middleman... what should I do if I get fired then? Is there any protection from such a company?
well if you get fired they should release you from your 3-year commitment contract, and that would be the best thing that happens lol.
Basically the direct hire agencies as for $5k-$10k one time payment

Brother! As I reckon Initially IELTs preparation required to get there. Being a student nurse of critical care nursing should I preffer IELTS or NCLEX preparation because I am near to my transition phase.

The prefer BSN, but they do sponsor nurses with diplomas. How likely to get sponsored? very likely

dont you understand him? theres two ways, staffing agency or direct hires.. you could find staffing agency in your country or overseas that provide service, if you want to do it yourself, you can start with the language, if you do great, then sign up to CGFNS, after you get a license from them you can take the NCLEX.. FYI, u dont apply for NCLEX at the first place, you have to get a license from CGFNS first.. about language certificate, find more information about the requirement because there might be different for each state whether they ask for TOEFL or IELTS.. also, some states required social security number to sit on NCLEX, so make sure you choose state that doesnt require SSN, e.g Idaho.. once you got ur license, find job offer, and sign up for immigration process.. also, I'm Indonesian, currently working in CA..

If you are an international nurse then you need to apply for a staffing agency to sponsor you for immigration. That is how you land a job
