I have been using this amplifier for a year. I am very satisfied with it and would buy it again. I carry it everywhere and the three different power supply systems are extremely practical. Also great to give a fuller voice to my PC.
To make the plastic cabinet less resonant, I coated the inside walls with blu-tac and I filled it with dacron wool.
I have one of these. It's worth the money for sure. Powering it with a powerbank saves you money on rechargeable batteries. It's perfect as a practise amp as it has built in metronome etc. It's loud enough indoors but outdoors it leaves you wanting a Yamaha THR10 for volume. But for just noodling by yourself outdoors its fine. I keep mine in the car with a short lead as its cheap enough to replace. I can just grab my axe on the way out and don't need anything else. Plus I use it as a bluetooth speaker if i'm driving a vehicle i don't own, so i can listen to CZcams etc.

Ok yes but Kevin, if you have a Honeytone Amp and an iRig2 plus a Line6 G10, along with the TONEBRIDGE App, you can get by WITHOUT the Amp in this video...

I got one of those for Christmas. And the sound was awesome. I been telling my fellow musicians about it. Its one of the best gifts from my wife. I use it at work to practice on my lunch.

After his last Harley Benton video I ordered the Flying V all decked out in gold with the Wilkonson humbuckers off reverb. And it came with headstock snapped off. Literally 2 days ago. So bummed. The quality looked fantastic knobs and switch and the finish. Less than 200 bucks.

I own this amp.....it's been a runn advertisement in Guitar Player and G World this year .....it's an amazing sounding little amp ....it's a great amp u can take anywhere with u- I sat poolside in my yard and just shredd for days this past summer!.....Max- great GREAT presentation!!!!.......the tone is ridiculous and u really nailed it !!!!!........ the bass sound is fantastic and deep......it's features are crazy - the drum machine surprised me how clean n clear it sounds in person ....the app is a great time to adjust - the reverbs made my head spin....I was shocked how easy this amp was to learn n use from a phone .....I got mine for $99 early this year......have a great Christmas and stay healthy and safe (everyone!!!!!!!...)......much love!......this is real guys n gals .....it's as good as BlackStars Fly and the app pushes it past easily into creative hijinks and endless noodling.........
Great product, but seriously, this was a top-shelf demo. No wasted bullshit. I just bought this product online because of this review. Thanks bro, this is the tits. Very helpful. This is exactly how an instructional video should be done.

You weren't overselling this thing! Really great device to use for practice or for refining my tone process. Going to pair this with a Harley Benton Guitar and hopefully do a video with it!
This is something that all Reviews really don't touch on and when you get it home your like hey WTF is this . Now Max is the only Guitar channel I'm subbed to been playing for 35 or so years . The thing about these little Amps is this . They don't sound as Killer at home just by themselves . Don't get me wrong this one sounds Fantastic but unless you can Mic it and push the Mini-Amps tone through a larger amp cab it doesn't sound quiet a large and crunchy . Its got some crunch but what you hear on your laptop is not quiet what your gonna hear when its on your desk and your plugged in and shredding . So just remember guys like Max have to mic it so we can hear it but its not gonna be as full and nasty in the good way as what your hearing . I recommend to anyone considering buying this one or any of the Micro amps is TRY THEM before you buy them . Don't watch a bunch of videos' then buy it from Zzounds or Sweetwater . Go play it live 1st . Max you rock great Demo as always
This and a Steinberger Spirit headless guitar and you have a fun little portable”go anywhere ” practice or jam rig. Great for camping / campfire jams!
I have a Blackstar Fly and it's not as good as I was hoping, especially the dirty channel. Thinkin' bout giving this a try. Diggin' all the bells and whistles! 3 watts is a plus as I'm in an apartment and my neighbors hear when i'm rockin' out!

NUX makes some pretty cool gear. Sad that many don't rate them very highly... have a NUX time core delay that does what I need it for and does it very well.
NuX is really one quality & innovative China company. So far the amp I bought is working great.

The legends say that Slash made his tone sound that way after seeing/hearin Max plug his guitar in to a rock. That sound inspired Slash so much he spent thousands of dolars remaking that sound. Thats also why we call it "rock sound".
I bet Max found the equivalet of excalibur of the Jack world and that way he can make anything sound awesome.

I’ve been happy with the Black Star Fly 3 combo pack from Musicians Friend which includes an extra speaker and power supply for a great price. The OD, EQ and delay is good with an extremely good sound. The line in, is handy and although it doesn’t have all the effects or the phone app, I use an inexpensive LINE 6 Pocket Pod to get effects with its computer software and graphic interface controls to jack it into. So delighted I went back and picked up the Black Star Bass version which is great for practice. Distortion is decent and while the speaker is not going to boom out great bass, it’s worth the price to play low volume and headphones practice. Your review is interesting for sure and looks similar. The extra speaker (telephone type cable connector) does give it a bigger room sound. With Walmart jumbo pack AA batteries so inexpensive I don’t even bother with the AC power supply that came with the combo pack- the freedom to carry it from room to room adds to guitar spontaneity and inspired playing.

I could see plugging it into a PA. I did that once a long time ago I plugged my Rockman soloist into a KDM 300 watt PA head. It sounded pretty good.
Godammit,...now you've got me thinking about that Harley Benton when I already am waiting on a Squier JM Jazzmaster and getting ready for a Squier Strat mod project. The HB is a nice one though. And I'm a bit jealous of people starting out now with so much great affordable good quality guitars and rigs that are out there these days.

I currently use blackstar fly3 that I use as a preamp plugged into a boss loop pedal then into a roland cube street ex, it actually works great. Once I saw this, I ordered it to replace the blackstar - adding backing tracks, a drum machine, and remote control to my existing DC powered rig.
This actually sounds pretty good for its size! I’m impressed with this. Great demo Max.

You forgot to mention - I think - that it is also a brilliant BT speaker. So even if you aren't connecting to the app, it plays incredibly well with your music collection on you mobile device or whatever.
PLEASE PLEASE Uncle NUX - Add an internal rechargeable battery version. The main reason my JOYO Jam Buddy goes in my bag instead of the NUX is because of the battery. (Who carries a bag of AA batteries with you)

I have a ZT Lunchbox amp which is not much bigger than that amp but it's rated at 200 watts. It also has an extension speaker out.
How loud can it get? There's a concrete tunnel near by that I always wanted to play guitar in!

Probably gonna get one. I just bought a traveller guitar and was going to buy a nice Bluetooth speaker to connect to my iRig but that's a bit more complicated and this amp seems like it'll be great for practice.

I've been looking at this one since Ola reviewed it, and it really intrigues me with the amount of features it has, the only reason I've been a bit hesitant is because, I bought a very similar mini amp from Ammoon a while back, but ended up returning it, because it was really lacking in the sound department, very tinny, and hardly enough gain to be usable for metal...
If this amp can sound as good as the Katana mini, I'd really consider getting it.

hey Max I have a black star fly3 and to be honest the nux is far better in everyway,all the extras that the nux comes with says it all and it truly is a nice sounding amp I'm ready to ditch my black star for a nux I know I'll be way happier with the nux,plain and simple way better set up....lol awesome can't wait,.

Pretty cool little amp tones of features for such a small package.but now the annoying questions what do drum tracks sound like? Was it miced up recording or direct? And i feel kinda dumb i thought it was nucks. Like abriviated knuckles.. Lol but now i see the arrow and nu x makes more sense
