Islamic law states that the minimum age for marriage is puberty, but it also states that you must follow the law of the land that you live in, which means that if the minimum age by law is 18, that is what you adhere to. But, if the law of the land is marriage under puberty, it is not allowed for a muslim to follow that law.

My mother married at 16 and probably my grandma married at 14-15. In those times you wouldn’t use pills or anything. Just straight away happy and healthy babies.
Men usually were 5-10 years older. But even 15 years of gap was never frowned upon. Also by happy and healthy babies I meant more than 4 babies by the time these women reached 25 and they usually had more than 4 babies. My maternal grandma had 6 while my paternal grandma had 11, if I’m not mistaken.

Also by happy and healthy babies I meant more than 4 babies by the time these women reached 25 and they usually had more than 4 babies. Yeah. It's based on the age of Asma R.A. Asma R.A was 27 during first hijri. And Asma R.A was 10 years older than Aisha R.A. so during First hijri, Mother Aisha R.A was (27-10)=17 years old.
Aisha was 18 when Muhammad died. She was 6 when Muhammad married her and 9 when he consumed their marriage. She was left childless and she lived till 60.
