Everytime I see one of these, the drumline parts are written like a marching drumset, and I hate it. I love the music, but please stop treating your drumline parts like walking drumset. It sucks because the parts are stupid easy and almost the exact same through every song.

IKR! They should actually hire a percussion writer to write these parts out and like literally the last three beat for drumline was actually a drumline type beat but basically every arrangement IS THE EXACT SAME THING AND SO NOT ORGINAL!!!

Edgar Espino Exactly! I hate it. so many cool songs, and smaller schools have to entirely re-write the part for it to sound anywhere near like a real drumline. These beats are so simple. I really wish Hal Leonard would hire actual percussionists to write the parts. it's really frustrating.

To be honest, that first chorus, if this is marched in a parade, is pretty inaccessible to anyone on the parade route not by the first trumpets. I'd expand it to the whole trumpet section tbh.
