  • A look into the fish keeping lives of Zaric and Jarenn, father and son hobbyist in Singapore. They have bred plecos such as the L96, L66, L185 pesudas and many more. They also keep what is believed to be the oldest Congicus Bichir living in captivity in Singapore (15 years) as well as wild discus and altum angelfishes.
    This video is a little different from my usual uploads. I hope it makes for a more interesting hobby and community by bringing faces to our community and showcasing hobbyists' fish keeping stories we can relate to. Also a way for fish keepers to showcase their proud tanks.

    2:49 "we do not mix from different localities" then a clown loach swims by in the "Amazon" tank hahahaha

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  Před 5 lety +2

      Hahahaha keen observation. What he meant is that as fish keepers they adhere to locality as a preference for keeping style. They aren't against mixing and the clowm loach was put into the amazom tank because they jad a snail infestation. Which still persists because the loach just stopped eating snails.

      @SGBeardedAquarist  Před 5 lety

      Thank you for the feedback Lisa. I am working to improve these videos and your feedback is crucial. May I ask is it the audio (volume/background noise) or speaking/singaporean accent that's making it hard to understand them?

    • @lisafoster4468
      @lisafoster4468 Před 5 lety +2

      @@SGBeardedAquarist I think it's mostly that the voice volume is too low compared to the background noise. The accent's a little tricky, but mainly they're getting drowned out by that hissy hum.

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  Před 5 lety

      Thank you so much for the feedback Lisa. Yes I was a little bumped out when I listened to the audio after I was done filming. It was my first time shooting such a video and I was so overwhelmed by the amount of things (setting up, picking a spot, 2 cameras, lighting, audio, briefing them, interviewing), that I fell short in this aspect. Will keep this in mind and not repeat it in future videos :)

    • @lisafoster4468
      @lisafoster4468 Před 5 lety +1

      @@SGBeardedAquarist Well, if you can subtitle what they're saying (you could just write in text in the video, which I think most programs allow you to do), that would be awesome :) Also, some editing programs will help you with fixing sound problems like that one.
