Honestly. This is one topic that Kirito shouldn’t have to explain. Alice and Eugeo might be Kirito's friends, but they don't know why he and Asuna are so close, why Yui calls them her parents.
Alice even drew her sword!
It's the one off I have for the game series and that's the Harem scenarios. I really wish Kirito and Asuna would sit down with all the love rivals and tell them like it is. Asuna will always come first. That will never change regardless of how desperate the others are
At this point in Accel World I don't even know if Asuna is still alive, as they have Saachan and her sister as their irl cloned daughters with Underworld technology with parents issues... And Kazuto is fighting his Underworld lord version to protect Alice... Since if the bad ones gets Alice... The real world is doomed...

Not the sao author's fault, he wrote sao with only kirisuna in mind and we fans were the ones who started interpreting the whole harem thing

@@danielcook7975I’d say this has more to do with the anime, since they cut or changed a lot of relevant couple stuff from the LNs to downsize the impact of their relationship and insert more harem-style moments and miscommunications with the rest of the lady characters.
You know in Japan, if a younger girl calls you daddy/papa, there're 2 reasons and considering Kirito and Yui's age the most likely reason is that it's sugar daddy.

But, is it really that hard? He could just say that he and Asuna met Yui in a world kinda similar to Underworld. They spend time together like a family and it eventually makes them want to stay together as real family. It's not something to hide if I do say so.

If he doesn't want to explain the whole complicated mess all he had to do is, "Yui is my and Asuna's adopted daughter". Is it really that hard to say that? It's not even a lie.

How to survive Kirito talking with Yui from Eugeo & Alice's hard question.
1. Don't let Yui called "Daddy" & "Mommy".
2. Run away to hiding in the house with door closed with locked.
3. Kirito & Yui must Vanished with Eugeo & Alice.
4. Kirito take Yui to hide in house area.
The thing is, Yui (First AI) is their (Eugene and Alice) ancestor.. so it makes Kirito and Asuna are their ancestor too.. to think it that way..

When Kirito is 19 (he spent 2 years in underworld), has a daughter that appears around 10 and Asuna who is currently 18
The gameverse follows a different timeline from the main canon. Due to not finishing on floor 75 but 100, SAO takes half a year longer (2.5 years in total, confirmed by this game). And the seed is only released here at the end of SA:O around February 2025, which is a year later then the main timeline. Basically this leads to both Lycoris and Last Recollection happening from anywhere between October 2026 (making Kirito 18 physically, 20 mentally) to june 2027 when he is most of the way to 19. This would also make Asuna 19 nearing 20 at most.

@@bladeazuma physically, in the anime Kirito is biologically 17. He has spent 2 conscious yewrs in underworld and has physically and mentally grown there and is therefore 19. These two years were never erased when he left, not to mention his soul had spent 10 years in Underworld as a child with those memories sealed, not erased.
As for the game verse the others explained it better, due to the changes to the story, they spent an extra 6 months in Aincrad, so Infinity Moment or Hollow Realisation

Why... We know it's established that him and asuna are in a relationship, and although this harem may be enjoyable for some, it makes kirito less of a man. It's better if his relationship was actually super clear and he doesn't need to hide his love for asuna like that with others. And if other girls are still gunning for kirito as a second wife even though people will disagree with the idea of polygamy because they are indoctrinated by modern day law, it would make kirito at least more likeable as a main character who isn't a wuss when it comes it relationships like how he deals with monsters.
We fans made it that way, it was only minor thing with Silica and others but we somehow made it more so.
I am being serious also the reason Kirito never explains cause nobody usually lets him and also it is complicated.
Think about it, him and Asuna met in a game and only known each other that way, all they known is VR selves.
Also asuna's mother was a bitch for most of time and Kirito and Asuna could only see one another via VR and school.
Cause Kirito to Asuna's mother was lower class and worthless however by time of Alicization arc her mother clearly has gotten better.
Their friends constantly tease them never letting Kirito explain so of course he is gonna run, cause he likely would not get a word in edge wise
Also Kirito clearly since S1 of sao was never a good talker or very social to begin with, he even makes that point several times in series
