  • We got a call…the father-in-law buried his truck in a snow drift. It is -7 deg F with a wind chill of about -30 and they live out in the country. Time to load up for a “quick” rescue. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. The lesson here is to continually re-evaluate your plan and if it is working. Furthermore, be willing to change plans as they fail. Follow along during this rescue and stay to the end for my critique of the incident. If you are in the Springfield Missouri area April 19th & 20th during the Expo stop in and say hello. The discount code “dunnagegar10” will save you 10% on your tickets. I hope you enjoy the video. If you are a subscriber…THANK YOU! If you are not one, please consider subscribing! Thanks for watching the video and have a blessed day. Rember, life is an adventure, go live it!

Dangerous weather to be stuck like that. Been there done that several times in Wisconsin. First time many, many years ago in a C7 Jeep when I was pregnant and hubby wanted to go for a ride in the woods for an adventure. I do not advise anyone being out in that kind of weather, especially off road. So glad ya'll got him unstuck. Also have experienced the tractor being stuck in snow. I like to be inside with a pot of coffee at home. LOL! I know you are an experienced guy and I thought you did a great job helping out. I know ya'll had to work quickly and be creative in your attempts. Glad everyone is safe after all. Good job, ya'll!

Thanks Rose! I agree, I would have preferred setting inside with a warm drink...but after it was all said and done (and I was warmed) it was a lot of fun.

    Interesting video!
Pulling is more fun, but a winch will get the job done every time.

Thanks for watching. Yes, pulling is more fun, but far more dangerous.

It was a miserable time to be in Nebraska a couple weeks ago!

Yes it was. There was a lot more to this recovery than I filmed, I wish I could have shown it all. Thanks for continuing to be a part of the channel.
