1973 Plymouth Barracuda Test Drive / Walk Around

American Muscle at its finest! The year is 1973 and the assembly plant is Hamtramck Michigan, out pops one of the most iconic muscle cars of its era the Plymouth Barracuda! This Barracuda started life as a 318ci car but has been restored to what you see today. It is powered by a built 440! It sounds excellent! The drivetrain feels solid. It has the signature pistol grip shifter and all the gauges operate as they should. From what we are told this was restored by the prior owner as a labor of love by a local Mopar shop in Ohio, the car came in with quarter panel damage and instead of letting it get scrapped they decided to restore the car, over 60K in restoration was completed, the owner became ill and now we are offering the car up for sale.
Interior:
The interior is very nice, it has bucket seats with the center shift. The dash does not have any cracks and all the gauges operate as they should. The seats are very comfortable. The windows operate as they should. The Radio turns on but there is no sound. During the photo shoot our photographer did not place the antenna up, we lower them as we stack them in our facility. The antenna and base are in excellent condition.
Exterior:

The antenna and base are in excellent condition. All of the brightwork is very nice, the hood opens up easily. The wheels and tires have 70% tread. The Side profile of this car is menacing, it looks like its about to pop a wheelie!
Drivetrain:
This Cuda is powered by 440ci Motor mated to a set of headers and full dual exhaust. The engine is fresh. The transmission shifts as it should and you do not have any clunking and or smoke coming from the tailpipe and or under the hood. Rear end seems to have Posi based on our video testing (2 patches of rubber) Power feels great throughout the whole power band. Overall a very nice driver. Please take a moment to look at our video!

It's a sad sounding car, 73 the emissions really killed the sound of the muscle cars sadly
