This is the 1445 commentary run, Korean users have higher specs to clear valtan easier, but adding in commentary and throught process during the fight to help some people to give some reference. Hope it helps

Thank you for all your guides on valtan I was able to beat hard after 10 hr prog with pubs the first day and this Thursday I raid lead my guild to a 30 minute hard clear of both stages. Thanks to all your videos! keep up the great work. You high as helll Mann
Sadly I am quiting lost ark today.. my static fell apart and every group I try to join says reclear but no one knows what they are doing they don’t even have one price of relic gear from the past two weeks. I cannot take the stress from always being the last person alive and soloing all the counter to just wipe because there is only 1 dps still alive and we cannot survive berserk.. I haven’t been able to eat I’m losing my mind over a video game and I know it only gets worse from here so I’m quiting now. I made it to 1470 as a free to play paladin and really enjoyed the game but I just cannot handle the stress. There’s just too many p2w people who are terrible at this game and I cannot tell who is good anymore.
@@kaosikris7001 thats some bipolar gaming right there lol. why dont you post youre looking for a guild and then join it. or maybe dont push your main so high when most people who are at that point now are mostly whales who dont know how to play the game. im 1445. havent done valtan hard yet, but my guild has done him 3 times and its fun as hell. i have no idea why you are stressing so much. relax. and if this is a troll post then well good one lol
@@kaosikris7001 maybe don't take the game that serious and try to have fun, go do some horizontal content or play alts and get them to 1370, also join a guild ( you are a high ilvl support, it will be easy for you to find a high level one ) also if you are losing your mind and not eating because you played with terrible people online in a video game, you need to find a solution for that, it's not that serious

I have 15 t3 chars almost done with all collectibles already done with all unas and rapport I don’t have any horizontal content left lol thank you for your advice I will chill out

Hey ATK what are the fire bomb indicators? I keep dying to it and I don't know other than his hand and if he's off screen I can't see it, is there something I can use to figure that out

i find that your clear times have been consistent with mine. 3 hours for gate 1 first time and 10 hours for gate 2 lol. what were your clear times for vykas gates like?

Which engraving would you pick for EF build ? I'm thinking going: Grudge 3 / Cursed Doll 3 / KBW 3 / Adrenaline 3 / EF 1 / Ambush 1 probably.
I wonder if raid captain would be better than Cursed doll.

any difference in dps as a 1600 spec eso compared to DB or about same?
These are just reserved for released classes right? So no arcana or summoner for example (for now)

Is Exotic Flurry viable path? And if not, on which GS u should consider swap
Esoteric Flurry has good damage by using a lot of skills. Deathblow has its damage in a few skills and you spend time building your orbs. It’s preference on how you would like to play
It is, both builds are. It's like igniter or reflux in sorc. One does flurry of damage while the other does burst of damage. Eso is easier to play and does consistent damage while DB is more bigger risk, bigger reward.
Also, Eso is playable from T1 to T3, while DB feels clunky and useless until you get 1k+ (1.4k+ pref) spec and until you get high tier Wealth runes.
@@joevaldez4889 I wouldn't say eso is easier. Its probably easier to jump into it if you new to striker, but if you want to top the dps meter, its very difficult since you need permanent uptime and every ability is meele and striker is pretty squishy.
As deathblow you just need to setup your big nuke properly, however if you miss, its painful. Similar to surge db, but Striker is a lot harder to perform well.
@@ziggs123 It's easier overall because you can button smash and still lots of damage, you have tons of mobility, you have high swiftness which converts to movement and CD, which also converts to better uptime and survivability, you can also stick to bosses more often, and it is not frustrating to miss an Eso skill as you can do it again after a few secs. While DB on the other hand, deals lots of damage but there is so much risk into it, if you miss you loose lots of damage, if you dont crit, you also loose lots of damage, kinda like RH Destroyer too but faster and more agile.
I use both btw and I really prefer Eso at this point because I really like constant DPS than risky Burst DPS.
Hi, currently i use this engravings for my striker (i've legendary jewels) deathblow. Keen Blunt x3 Grudge x3 Ambush Master x3 Deathblow x3, stats 468+ crit and 1460+ spec. Is fine or it's better change my engravings? For example Keen blunt with Spirit or Adrenaline x3? Or relic jewels for obtain Adrenaline x3 and spirit x1/2.
Final example:
Grudge x3
Deathblow x3
Adrenaline x3
Ambush master x3
Spirit x1
totally fine. provided you have LWC and land back attacks, you should have enough crit for KBW. roll with it through vykas ur set

@@Savazel lostwind cliff cardset, which gives 7% crit. 60% or more is what you want, to run keen blunt. Ultimately your engravings sound more than fine, and most ppl recommend spending gold in other places, like tripods and gems (which don’t get replaced as soon)

@@Savazel Your setup is fine. Once Kakul Saydon is out you just add in level 3 of either Cursed Doll, Spirit Absorption, or Adrenaline and you're good to go.

i think i died like 3 times on ghost phase on my first time doing valtan because of my lightning kick going through him and then getting knocked off the map by one of his patterns.

I use the exact same engravings on my Deathblow. Problem is, I don't crit that often. Lately, I was thinking of switching to Adrenaline, do you think I should do it?
Edit: We did Valtan on 2nd try this week so I'm proficient enough for it.
Its much better dmg but also alot harder to play. You can probably just keep what you have for now untill supports finish their relic sets before you go 5x3 and drop spirit. You can also do somtheing like DB 3, Grudge 3 , KBW 3, Ambush 3, adren 2, spirit 1 for comfort. Or swap the adren and spirit for cursed doll for better dmg
i run grudge ambush db and adrenaline 4x3, its difficult to lack the move speed and attack speed of spirit absorbtion but also helps with the lack of crit plus is more dmg and in KR the top strikers dont use spirit absorbtion at all so might aswell get used to the slow gameplay.
How is Esoteric in comparison to Deathblow damage wise?
eso = consistent dps and low risk ( you are faster and low CDs ) , DB = burst, huge dmg but it's harder to play and you are slower coz no swiftness, it also needs a LOT of spec and a lot of wealth runes, so start esoteric then if you want change to DB when you are high enough in T3, but both are perfectly playable, just pick whatever seems more fun to you

You can run Deathblow > Grudge > Ambush Master > Keen Blunt > Cursed Doll
Adrenaline should be better than keen blunt unless u have 7% crit card set
Usually the core is Deathblow (ofc), Grudge, Ambush Master, Keen Blunt, and then last slot is either Cursed Doll for more damage, or Spirit Absorption for speed. Can also use Adrenaline 3, though at very high item levels (ancient gear), most Strikers seem to keep it at 1/2.
@@bschwentner21 Maybe it's because im lacking quality on the accessoaries, but I feel like the 24% crit aren't enough even taking into account the lightning whisper buff you only get to 42%, while KB is most effective at 60 or above, I've got a adren 1 in the build just because i felt the lack of crit and since even if i went for cursed doll it wouldnt be at 3 which just isnt wort at this point

I decided to pass on grudge and cursed doll couse I'm afraid I might not be confident/skilled enough for those downsides.
A low t3 strieker here, still doing argos, spirit absorption has been a life saver personally, everything seems so much smoother and you're pretty quick with attack execution, finally I think it helps with tiger strike charge up soooo

On a unrelated note, Gunslinger question: gunslinger use to go crit/swift and peacekeeper level 1. Now, I’ve seen more and more people go crit/spec 50-50, and also go for peacekeeper level 3. Is that related to the recent class balance patch? Can you elaborate on this shift?
I haven't seen any serious gunslinger doing this for Peacemaker. Read what Spec does and make your choice based on that. Peacemaker suffers from diminishing returns, but it's harder to get artifacts that are two of the desired engravings and not a gaurenteed and then one desired. Part of why Relic accessories are a bit of a pain is because the over all value of all combos goes up as none are gaurenteed.
I'm speculating here. But is maybe because now you take less shotgun skill (spec was almost useless for them). And with more people taking Bullet rain and catastro. Spec give them a nice bonus in dmg. With around 1000 spec it give you 35% more dmg with all rifle skill and 100% more crit dmg with pistol skill.

What i saw the problem is at valtan that people dont even look the guide how to do it..
Man striker gameplay look soo easy for a melee class... Sometime it look easy than Surge DB.. No compromise bullshit. Maybe is because ATK build with SpiritA or maybe is his experience. But as an Energy overflow SF main i feel like i NEED to make double the effort to do dmg gluing myself to the boss ass.
