He defo does, however, opponents like that MMA fighter/Jake's sparring partner Tommy fought just wanted to survive and they had baby two minute rounds and only 4. If you are fighting a shirt,.stumpy, durable, awkward fighter.for only 8 minutes and they just want to survive it hard to get them out. Has nothing to do with power. That guy was literal Jake's sparring partner, which means they are evenly matched and go long every day. It's alot like Lobov was not that great a fighter but super durable.
Jake is not very active or durable, he could easily get picked apart for eight rounds but land that right a few times. He may even drop Tommy but Tommy has all that time to recover and wears the shots well with head movement and such. You really won't find Jake connecting clean like he did with Tyron. It's likely your typical technical boxer vs power pincher, and the better boxer usually wins those. Also don't be surprised with a sketchy decision.

The amount of people who flip flopped to jake Paul because of the two pull outs from Tommy is childish to me I understand the mindset behind why fans do that but it’s sad to see so many people down playing Tommy nice to finally see someone speaking good of him and his ability
This is the first fight in a long time who I really don't know who's gonna win. I want to say Tommy, but after seeing his last fight I'm not confident in him. The other part of me thinks Jake, but he hasn't fought a boxer. Both have power, but I'd give Jake the edge when it comes to power. I don't like the pressure Tommy's family is putting on him. His dad is the one who agreed to the double or nothing and Tommy had no choice to agree with it after that, although it doesn't mean shit until he signs the contract. Also, his dad and Tyson both said he isn't part of the family anymore and has to quit boxing forever if he loses. Idc who you are or what Tommy says about it, that's alot of pressure and his family is only making it worse. I truly think Jake is in his head even though he says he's not. This fight has my interest

Last boxing match this hype was Paul Woodley 2 imo. I really had no idea what would happen but thought Jake may just out point him. Ironically, now those roles are a bit reversed and Jake is the one shot, telegraphed right over hand fighter, racing the more polished boxer. Say what you want about Jake but you wanna see his fights,.you care about them. He has been the heir to Mc Gregor in that department. The fact he puts these bets on the line also make you care about more, no matter how silly they are. There is a young McGregor vibe to him for sure.

@JoeyA51 Just like Deontay Wilder who supposedly worked on his weak spots and still got destroyed by Fury in their 3rd fight. In boxing you don’t perfect your weak spots over night. When your opponent who’s stood in front of you starts to out jab you, your training will fly out the window which is exactly what’s gonna happen to Jake Paul when Tommy out jabs him in the fight.

I hope Tommy wins but he has a weakness for the overhand right and has shown that in his fight with cheetos and Jake has a better right hand than Cheetos. I think if Jake finds that over hand right the way that Cheetos did then Tommy will go down.
He tries to dance with a wide open guard in his previous fights so I hope he has learned to tighten up his defense for this fight.
