Im Wald, im grünen Walde (Lore, Lore, Lore) - Marschlied

Das Soldatenlied ,,Im Wald, im grünen Walde", auch bekannt als ,,Des Försters Töchterlein", ist in dieser Fassung wahrscheinlich kurz vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg bis Ende der 1920er Jahre entstanden. Einige Fragmente und Motive des Textes lassen sich allerdings schon früher nachweisen. Leider sind der Komponist und der Autor unbekannt.
Die Melodie des Refrains ähnelt dabei jedoch stark dem amerikanischen Bürgerkriegslied: ,,John Brown's Body" oder ,,The Battle Hymn of the Republic".
Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs, bis hin zur frühen Bundeswehr, erfreute sich das Lied, beim Militär, großer Beliebtheit und etablierte sich dadurch schnell als Volkslied, unter dem man es heute noch kennt.
Gesungen und gespielt wird die Version von dem Musikkorps der Schutzpolizei Berlin unter der Leitung des Obermusikmeisters Heinz Winkel.
Dies ist kein Wehrmachtslied! Es besteht keine Verbindung zum Nationalsozialismus!

The soldiers' song "Im Wald, im grünen Walde", also known as ,,Des Försters Töchterlein", was probably composed in this version shortly before the First World War until the end of the 1920s. However, some fragments and motifs of the text can be traced back earlier. Unfortunately, the composer and author are unknown.
