I'm impressed by this beautiful van, only thing I'd change would be an expandable table because there's seating for 5 and that little table would barely hold a dinner setting for 2.

Patrick love your video’s and learn something new every time I watch one. I noticed that the 2023 24GT is now equipped with a door stop to prevent the rear doors from slamming shut in the wind when opened, great idea! I have a 2022 GT and left a message for your part’s department to see if I can order that part but have not hear back from them. Would you know what that part number is by chance? Thanks again you are a great asset to Airstream and Colonial RV!

Patrick, thanks for an awesome video! Do you know if the mascerator pump/ dump valve has a bypass so when camping at an RV park the gray water can drain without worrying about overfilling the gray tank?
It is not designed with a by-pass however, it can be a modification you can do aftermarket if you feel necessary.
What seperates this airstream from the competition is that italian plywood/laminate combo. Those italians can work magic with plywood, no question. 😂

Looks beautiful, and the big battery is great. But only 24 gallons of fuel, which is shared with making your heat and power? This really needs another 20+ gallons of fuel capacity.
The Sprinter van is the 24.5 gallon fuel tank standard with not factory options for larger. There are aftermarket tanks available that are larger but they are not Mercedes Approved.
When do the new sprinter chassis arrive? The ones using the much more modern four-cylinder diesel and the far superior, and lighter, four-wheel-drive system?
Kevin, they will be available for the 2024 Airstream model year later this summer.
So many good points, love the drawer-style microwave and the push-button reclining bed and ottomans! HOWEVER why oh why would yall put the exhaust fan button in the ceiling? Did you forget that some people are short?
The exhaust fan in the galley can be controlled by touchscreen at a lower point. The bathroom ceiling is 6'1" and a 4'6" person or taller with average arm length can reach up to push the button on.
Would love to see a hybrid chassis from Mercedes or even an all electric one ;)

Awesome review! Enjoyed seeing the van and all the features. 25:28 having to choose between 4-wheel drive and seatbelts is a little bizarre, however. 😲
Its all based on available payload.
It looks like it only sleeps two; I don’t know why you’d need 7 seatbelts anyway, unless you’re also using it as a station wagon.

I predict the next evolutionary step, in regards to the airstream’s bathroom, will be retractable toilet & sink basin. This would open up the space, enabling a relaxing, obstacle-free shower. Tbh, I don’t know why this hasn’t been realised already-the technology must exist

There are a lot of really nice and well appointed Class A motorhomes for $250,000. Credit to Airstream they totally nailed the design with good space, nice materials and just what you want in this model. But that price is a far too unobtainable level for most people, especially when they find a full size house on wheels with a washer/dryer and king size bed for half the price!
If you are looking for a bus you have different wants a needs than a campervan buyer.

Airstreams are known for their premium quality and longevity, which are factors that influence their pricing. But take a look at pre-owned and travel trailers and you might find an RV suitable for your price range.
It's also Mercedes so you can factor that is priced.

Where in the bedroom can you set down/store/plug in to use a CPAP machine?
Many customers that own these put the CPAP below the bed under the two ottomans.
Does Airstream dealer do mechanical maintenance on the vans? Or do i have to take it to Mercedes dealer to get oil change, etc.??
Airstream dealerships can do some maintenance items on the Mercedes Chassis.
Does the generator still come with the E1 package or is it all electric?
A LP generator is not available or necessary with the E1 package.
I have been looking at the vans, does anyone find them too small to enjoy? They sure seem like they would be nice for an extended weekend adventure
Patrick has a 19' Airstream van now for 5 years and it is just the right size for him to travel in.

That is because it is smaller and more compact than your LTV which is a wide body Class C (Class B+) and you have a slide out.
Over a quarter million dollars ?? Unless you are a millionaire , mostly out of the range of most people .

This could be a family investment. Folks could take turns using it like a timeshare. Especially if you have kids and love road trips but HATE truckers stops and sketchy bathrooms. I would definitely buy this with a group contract. It's so worth it.

I mean it’s beautiful, but $100k over priced.
One complaint, wish there were power blinds on the front windows!
We also wish there can be items like this however there are air bags put in by Mercedes that cannot be tampered with and any new obstructions added to the cab area can be dangerous. The removable cab window blinds are the safest ways and comply with Mercedes guidelines.
The only thing id change frear liftback instead of double doors, get rid of unnecesary sliding door and get rid of of side7 rear windows idon't need anyone looking in
When is Airstream switching to 2023 MB Sprinter (w/ 2.0l turbo and 9 speed tranny)?

Great content, yet cab should always be separate from the living area. Not a fan of the AC unit of the roof.. if I bought this I would have to tear it apart.. maybe it would be okay for other people, yet this is not an off grid rig

This is made for the North America market. There are similar Sprinter camper vans available in your Country.
How long can you run the air conditioner?
If equipped with the LP generator, 30-36 hours on a 85 degree day. If with the E1 Lithium package 6-10 hours in the same conditions.

There are two battery systems in this van. One for the chassis and one for the coach.

Currently, Grech has the Terreno model, same exact features except it's 22' vs 24' foot and comes with a generator vs ion. It's listed for $150,000.
I don't know man I live in Tennessee and some of the more cheaper houses arwell ridiculous. It doesn't always cut it these days, gone are the days when you could get a house for like $170,000. It's getting more and more expensive and then you know you added something like an acre lot or something like that and it's ungodly man. I think it came down to it that even a trailer was more about land then it was about what was on it. Want to get your standard Airstream which is a little bit cheaper and then put it on said land still going to cost you. Turn around and build a house there later give me. Or use that Airstream to travel. At least you have options.
Besides the last time I said something like quarter million are you kidding was in the 90s.. And a friend of my ex had just built house for that much in Crossville Tennessee. And it was a good-sized house but it wasn't a mansion or anything.. But it was a pretty house and yes it was brick.
Edit price was wrong. And our friend Ron was crazy for building a house that was a quarter of a million dollars in those days again like mid-90s.

I don't know how the Chinese get washing machines, 32 inch tvs, bigger bathrooms with the same space. The sleeping areas are not as big in one space, but it has sleeping how two to three in different spaces. How to they do it.

Yes, laminates are more durable for the RV lifestyle. Hardwoods and veneers do not hold up well in this environment.
