The pixelated low quality versions of horror games somehow do it better somehow. I won’t be surprised if a horror game solely based on Minecraft ends up becoming extremely scary.

It's actually something very interesting, The design of things with low quality makes your brain fill the gaps, you're basically creating the image of the monster yourself, that doesnt happen with high quality games since you already have the image you have to percieve presented in front of you
