Like the old radios as much as that Plymouth. Those were a tough sell since Ford had the more popular flathead V-8, but that six was up there in horsepower for that time.
Wow nice! 🤩 It does have really great body style, and seriously comfortable looking seats! The vintage ads featuring those beautiful radios were really cool also! 😎 Enjoyed as always! Stumped by the music again LOL
Wow, this Plymouth is a real oldie but goodie with very impressive numbers for 1932, The Great Depression!!! It has an interesting story as well!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting video!! 👍👍🙂
I try to go after cars that haven’t been reviewed =) the last three weeks been doing the super bowl of craft shows will get to do some really cool stuff after this weekend
@@What.its.like. You review cars that no one else would bother with, and this one has a very interesting development history & it beat Ford's line in sales that year! Never knew that.
I didn’t know that either I thought Ford I thought everybody with their flathead V-8 it was a couple years later they would.. this is a learning channel and just trying to keep the information out there for people who want to get into this awesome hobby =)
For awhile we had a 1953 Plymouth as a 2nd car, 20 years newer than this but a similar looking flathead 6-cylinder engine. Of course, it had been made larger by then; in the '53 the flathead 6 had 217 cubic inches, 100 (gross) horsepower. Top speed in the '53 Plymouth was 88 mph.
What is free-wheeling? I’ve never heard of that. In the background I can hear “Na Na Hey Hey Good bye” The Chicago White Sox play that whenever someone hits a home run. 😁
Chrysler's patented, two-point Floating Power engine mounting allowed the engine to rock freely around its center of gravity, stabilized by a short leaf spring on the right side of the bellhousing. This system filtered vibration remarkably well.
Great car! Song, The Defonics, La La Means I love you.
You got it =)
Lovely "money GREEN" color. It's a really nice looking car. Plymouth's were really nice cars back in the day.
Love the lines on this one

What crazier is the ford flathead made 80hp and high compression red head 6 made 76hp
Very pretty Plymouth, love the color.
It was a really nice car that’s for sure
What a beautiful Plymouth!

The only thing better than Art Deco is Mid-Century Modern!
I love the lines on this car =)

That’s awesome thank you so much for sharing =)
When did the Slant 6 come into being? Thanks. I understand that the Slant 6 was one of the best engines ever.
MY FIRST CAR WAS EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE ONLY BLACK IN COLOR . BOUGHT IT IN 1953, GAVE $ 85.00, WISH I HAD IT NOW !
This car was awesome =)
Do you have any cool stories about the one that you owed
Cloth upholstery is longer lasting than vinyl or leather from what I understand.m
'La la la la la la la I Love You'.
Don't remember the group.
Nice review. 😀
Thank you =) you got the song someone else got both before you
How about the Flying Lady hood ornament or radiator cap? Beautiful like artwork. 👌
Esta realmente nuevo, lastima no tiene la carcaza del auxilio y un poco corto el chasis, siempre se ve en la puerta trasera 🎥🆗
That upholstery is impressive. Does it copy the original?
To my knowledge it’s original I was in great shape

Awesome what body style

As I understand it, free-wheeling disconnects the engine to the drive train if you're going downhill.
@@billolsen4360 thanks for the update. Thanks that cars don’t have that feature anymore. 🙄😱
Nice😀
=)
What is “Floating Power “ in the one advertisement that you showed?

I thought Mitsubishi had a car available for about 12,000. I might be mistaken.
According to google Chevy spark is the cheapest American car on sale in America $14,595.
@@What.its.like. thanks. That’s close to 12000 but no cigar!
