It seems most of the super-early fans think they were already phoning it in by this point. I pity those people. The first time I heard this song was literally life changing. For better or worse it started a huge shift in my own perception of what constituted music, art, and life in general and I'm still living with the effects almost 20 years later...
same yo, punk rock totally changed my life, but for me it was The Descendents not NOFX but both of them are great bands
I discovered nofx like 6-7 years ago, linoleum, bob unt so weiter. In 2014/15 everything in my life went to shit and somehow in my darkest hour i ended up listening to some compilation album with a mixture of ska and punkrock and holy fuck it brought me back to the early 2000's i was still a kid playing tony hawk 1, skating, all that good shit. Now im 27, still not outta angst. I wanna go back to 17-18 year old me and slap that motherfucker around and say "Hey keep the fuck on keeping on" In conclusion, if you're a kid watching this, fucking go for it. The chord progressions are still the same rehashed things since forever.. it's imprinted in peoples dna to be likeable, kill the electronic bullshit scene! Bring back real instruments and PARTY PUNK!

heel-toe
All of the smelly tom cover vids I watched they use all toe. Heel-toe is good for Bonham beats but I can't alternate heel-toe that fast for the life of me.
Robert Evans Try the slide technique. There's tons of videos on it, and it works great for people who play heel up.
