Man, I’d just convinced myself that with a 10” two 11”, and a 12”, that all sound awesome, I don’t need a larger drum. But man, that big tumba sounds incredible.
Hi, i prefer in a Set of 4 Moperc CC Congas 10.5/11.75/12.5/13”. That’s for me the best combination. And yes, this 13” LargeTumba is absolutely the best i ever had in my life. And I played a lot ! But of course, with good Congas are al lot of cool combinations possible. All the best, thanks & greetings, Christoph.
Hi everybody, here a little note to my “ marcha colón”. It works together with the 2-3 Son Clave. The first open on the Tumba is on the “4” - together with the “ponche” (4 on the 3-side of the Son Clave). So the pattern starts on the “4” at the end of the Son Clave. But…. it also runs really cool and modern together with a 3-2 Rumba Clave. In that way the Conga comes together with the “2+” - the “Bombo-Note” in the Rumba Clave. Have fun & stay tuned, Christoph • SCR440
