This was one of my husbands favorite songs. We sang it at his funeral this year.

I was saved in 2009 and I was struggling with everything and I thought I couldn't overcome what I went through but in my darkest hour I found this song and it transformed my life and God moved through it and through me. I was able to overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony!
There is no trial, trouble, enemy, or opposition that can win against the love and power of Christ. For we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Hardships and adversity do not last, and God's love will see you through the fire. Trust his love, his promises, and he will get you through the fire. He is a faithful God.

When a person searching for the truth in the scriptures cannot see it, the person needs to go look in a mirror, when you see jesus in your reflection and not just yourself then you can recieve gifts of his spirit, recieve these gifts amongst the many scriptures, you will find the only weapon jesus left for us to conquer our enemies, love is all you need, mankind is mankinds own enemy, love one another and live amen, no good one or two, march upon the war torn lands declaring peace in multitudes

I was Addicted to Porn and drugs when I was in 5th grade and stayed like that till 9th grade and because of Jesus I Overcame, and havent done it for 6 months Im a leader now in my church group.. I LOVE YOU GOD!!
How old are you now ? You said from 5th grade to 9th grade now " haven't done it (?) for 6 months ? You don't need to be leading anyone if you only have 6 months clean. Maybe 18 months. 🤔

I've helped lead in worship with this song for the last few years and it still amazes me to see how it makes everything that I've overcome to seem so small when I realize everything that Jesus overcame. I know we had different purposes in our lives and the things that I overcame were significant, but the cross? And then taking the same hands that held those nails and using them to roll away a huge stone to crush death and walk away? WOW, what a Savior!!!
Jesus is our hope, and we can find rest in Him. God says He keeps us in perfect peace for those whose minds are set on Him. God bless you.

I struggle with this too. God has recently spoken to me in a powerful way for who he wants me to be, so pray that my faith would stand strong against temptations, and for God to give me discernment to choose the right way when the enemy tries to attack my weakest point.
It turned 10 years old in April. We started going there a month after it started. My son is now going to Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas Texas and playing drums ans bass with different groups there.
I keep coming back! Can't get enough of this truth in my spirit. There's such a hunger in me to this word out.

I absolutely 100% agree! God has helped me get through all the tough times in life, and has always been there for me. Without him, my life would not be complete! He is absolutely amazing and has brought us all the amazing gift of life as we know it. So everyone just enjoy life, even if you are going though tough times! Believe!
