Watching John cut with that plasma cutter made my back hurt. Haha, I used to have a back that could stay like that all day. You can always tell when someone has been welding for a long time because they ditch the welding gloves and just use the work gloves. No need to change. I do use a thick glove on my left hand when I do flux core. What kind of Tillmans you wear, and where do you get them. The biggest question is.. do they hold up? The cheaper gloves always rip at the pointer finger on my left hand. NBS wears the oilshield Tillman but those are way too thick. Great video! Lots of good work... and no porosity. 😂
Ya Jon is a great kid, don't mind working. He didn't know a grinder from a drill when he started a year ago, he has come leaps and bounds. I have worn the driver style Tillman 1424's for years now, they hold up for a good while. I guess the welding ones are good for women and children😉 but way more than I need. The occasional spark down the wrist makes me feel alive 😂. I get them where I get all my supplies from Arch3 gasses. I go between 4 of there stores regularly and they are all really nice guys.
