Definitely his best film. One of the most amazing endings in the history of cinema.
This is actually my favourite movie from Bong. But seriously the praise Parasite got I don't understand it. It's good but this film. ❤
And at the time when the killer was still at large, the director thought the killer would be arrogant enough to see this movie so ending is meant for the killer.
This is hands-down the best thriller ever made.

I got so happy when I saw that you guys reacted to this, I don't see that many reactions to Bong Joon Ho's films. Great video!
In the movie, Lee Choon-jae was sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting and killing his sister-in-law in 1994, and DNA from evidence from the fifth (1987), seventh (1988), and ninth (1990), which were unresolved serial murders, was found to be the same as Lee Choon-jae's DNA in 2019.
The suspect is found recently and he actually died in a prison. He was actually sent to prison for other crime and spent life in prison. That's one of the reasons could not find him.

As someone commented in Korean, they did finally catch the guy with DNA evidence recently. And he did turn out to be ex-military.
All men go to the military because Korea is a conscription system.
So, all men in Korea are ex - military.
