- Charlton visited Gillingham for the FA Cup at the Priestfield stadium. A very poor performance saw Charlton eliminated, by a spirited Gillingham side who in the end, were deserved winners.
Good luck to Gillingham for the rest of the tournament, Charlton, shambles.

Gills fan Dave here. There has been quite a few blogs from this game, and yours was excellent, and unbiased. Thanks for being honest. We really are turning it on playing good football since Stephen Clemence took over. However, Charlton are still a good team, and will be up there fighting for at least a playoff position. This game was a one off, we were at home, and from the off, we pressed and wanted it more. Believe me the Gills have been diabolical in earlier games, and if we had had one of those, you would have won. As you know, we now have Sheff Utd at home, and an upset is definetely possible. Thanks to your great fans coming down to the scaffolding end, and making it a great atmosphere at Priestfield

Very humble review of the game from yourself, as I said to another Gills fan, I do believe Lapslie, Bonne and Williams all played with a point to prove and I certainly think it had an impact.
Overall though you really were just better to a man and were back superbly.

I always apreciate your vídeos because yours and the others bloggers I follow, are the only way to know about the real contact with Team and fans. About the match it seems performance was awful, a very few respect for the fans. Performance like that damages the club identity. Regards from Madrid.
It does indeed damage the clubs reputation, bragging rights go to a local team now.
It's all about the fans, I started the channel with the intent for it to be focused on fans. Without my pre match interviews and the interactions, I truly don't enjoy making these videos.

Great video fella , enjoy watching the opposition take on the game , was expecting a lot more from Charlton . I feel your pain as were terrible at times away from home . 6hrs coming home from Wrexham losing 2 nil with them scoring after 50 seconds was one of our highlights.

Gills fan here, enjoyed your video, which was very honest. Having endured plenty of similarly poor performances from the Gills I feel for you, especially on such a cold day and having to sit in such an awful stand. It’s a shame because the rest of the ground is really rather good. I hope things turn around for you during the rest of the season. When I was younger, I would do Gillingham one week and Charlton the next and certainly enjoyed it in the heady days of the second and top divisions.

I like the ground, nice traditional ground surrounded by houses with a bit of character, the stand isn't ideal but your club won't be doing that by choice,

Similar to myself. When Gills were away, i either did Charlton or Palace, depending on who they were playing, and stood in the home end. Those days games were always saturday afternoon at 3pm, so was home by around 7pm unless we stayed in London on the pop, and lucky to get the last train from Victoria down to Rainham

I imagine football was better back then where players stayed with clubs longer?

Putting yourself through it again so we don't have to. Oh, wait🙄. I whatsapped my Lesta mate at one point, so complacent with the progress of their promotion procession that he wasn't keeping tabs on their match with West Brom. I told him I was asking myself why I thought it was worth losing my toes to frostbite watching that dross. At no point did I believe Charlton were going to score. Can't wait to hear what Rodwell and Scott have to say at the Bromley Addicks.

Shocking performance, but i can always rely on the honesty. Cheeky missed goal is a token Brazil performance. The vlogs might be the only good thing about some of our performances.
