- You may have heard that kids in Japan commute to school on their own. But is that really true? Today we talk about not just the commuting styles, but also parenting styles in Japan vs the USA.
Austin did a lot of self-commuting but Arthur didnt.

It is my first time watching this channel and I enjoyed so much watching this video and I really really love the perspectives you two have!! How intelligent!! The ability to explain in a very understandable way, including humor in the conversation, and talking about stories which are really relatable! This is the one of my favorite topics of this series ever, especially the differences between rule in Japan and US. I totally agree with you guys. As a Japanese, I feel like we should have more like an American way though. Thank you lovely guys.
When my first son was a few months old, my hudband tried to "breast feed " him. 😂
いつも楽しく拝見しています。私は米国（東海岸）に移り住んで、ついには就職先の選択肢を広げる為にアメリカ人になりました。職のためにアメリカ人となったわけですが、主人も私もそれぞれに最近リタイヤ致しました。友達はいますが敢えて日本人のコミュニティーを避けてアメリカの中にどっぷり浸かって生きてきました。ですのでお二人の話は”アメリカ人あるある”の話として聴いていて面白いです。そしてそれ以上に私の知らなかったアメリカ文化を学べるところです。
アメリカに住んでいても、環境、年齢（世代）、性別などで見方や考え方が違ってきますので、知らないこといっぱいですからね。それと英語の言い回しも学んでいます（笑）長く住んでいても英語は上手くならないです。
お二人はご自分のお子さんと何語でお話されていますか？英語を学べる環境を提供したいと思われていると思いますが、如何でしょうか？
