- A Barcelona fan wakes from an 8 year coma! The year is 2015 and Messi, Suarez and Neymar have just helped Barcelona win the treble. They won La Liga, Copa del Ray and Champions League. fast forward 8 years and Barcelona look a lot different to how they were in 2015. Although they are La Liga champions again, they're nowhere near the team they were in 2015. What will be this Barcelona fans reaction when finds out everything that has happened in the last 8 years?

If you've watched football long enough than you know that it's completely normal for any top team to go through circles of domination and rebuild. Sometimes it takes a very long time. Like Real Madrid's period with no CL win between 1966 ane 1998. Or Manchester United's Premier League drought between 1967 and 1993. Barcelona actually always had periods where they had to rebuild a top team but they always bounced back. The first I remember was when Ronaldo El Phenomene left. They immediately recovered due to Rivaldo. But when Rivaldo and Figo left, they had three pretty bad seasons. But they bounced back with Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco. Then had another two season drought when Ronaldinho had many scandals. But then Guardiola rebuild the team in 2009. It's just that young Barcelona fans are not used to them not dominating since the successful Messi era lasted so long. Over a decade after all. But when I'm looking at their current squad, I'm not too afraid. Pedri, Gavi etc. have huge potential. Give them one or two more seaons and fill the gaps with new good signings and I'm sure they will bounce back once again. Barcleona fans just need to be patient. There of course is no guarentee that they will bounce back. But I've seen worse top teams bounce back like Juventus Turin, AC Milan or FC Liverpool. In the end, they all did bounce back, even if it took a long time. As long as you remain in the top 4 of your league, I think the chances are very high that you will once again be a major force in European Football.
JAJAJA great video, tough years for we, Barça fans. But i also want to say that now almost every team plays like that 2008-2012 Barça team, and im happy knowing that Pep, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, and the rest, changed football forever.
