As retired firefighter I miss fighting fires what I don't miss is fighting fires during extreme heat I'm drench in sweat just watching this video.
I was there and saw that fire in the afternoon and that fire was big and scary i hope everybody is safe and i will give my prayers🙏🙏🙏

@@virgilhilts3924 if someone wanted to know why no lines were stretched inside is he a Couch Captain to, I was with NFD for over 30 years and now when I see videos of them at fires I can't believe what shit they turned into. An outside fire fighting department
Definitely not wrong just to ask a question. Especially a reasonable question. I understand the ladders position when doing interior work for means of egress but when everyone is removed from the building..
That is one of the ladders main roles is as an elevated stream.

Serious cockloft fire. Spraying the bricks won't work. Surprised there are so many rear mounts with 1 axle. We (FDNY) had them but we broke so many axles they went to dual axle at rear in 90s.
@@richardmeo2503 FDNY work the apparatus hard you guys work hard and play even harder I'm sure you guys can break Abrams tank.
I'm not being negative towards FDNY It's just people don't realize how hard nyc is on your equipment especially the firefighters.
ladder 6 is the only non single axle truck that’s a frontline
