This part of the country is entirely different, with its expat friendly cities, environment, and fantastic landscapes featuring everything from high mountains to amazingly attractive beaches. On a geographical point of view the regions that are characterized as North-Western Spain include those facing the Atlantic Sea and regions like Aragon and Navarra near the French border, as well as regions like Castilla y Leon and Extremadura on the Portuguese border.
