I left the tuner exactly the way HMF programmed it for my machine. That was their recommendation in the instructions that if the machine runs well with the way they programmed it to leave it alone. I’ve been really satisfied with it that way and haven’t needed to change any settings.
I can definitely feel a few HP and torque increase like HMF advertised. It breathes a lot easier now for sure. I like the sound improvement and the look of the muffler. I have noticed a huge reduction in EGT’s over the stock muffler also.

Alba racing makes an ecu flash 200 bucks that is the way to go.

Are you thinking of putting a hmf on your honda rancher???
We did talk about it but we like the sound the Rancher has currently so it’s going to stay with the stock exhaust for now.
Do you have to buy the fuel optimizer separately?
