- This meme was inspired by the "I Blew Up Malaysia." Meme from Johnny Test. I decided to make a version where Canada disappears. I had no idea about the bad Circumstances of Canada nor did I really care about Justin Trudeau. I didn‘t know where most of the population was located either. I just wanted to make a random shitpost. I didn’t expect that this video would blow up after 10 Months.

@@ZoofyZoofprobably the same reason comparatively no one lives in the western half of America: (most of)their ancestors came from the east and so that's where most everyone settled creating a positive feedback loop of people moving and living where society already was and furthering the development of the area instead if going into the middle of nowhere.

To give some context for non-canadians, that sliver above the New England states is still Canada. Which includes most major cities: Toronto, Quebec, ottowa, and more. Despite Canada being the 2nd largest country, most of its sparse population is pretty close to the US border.
So yeah, Norm wiped out Canada and only 2-3 major towns in the process. The rest are chilling.

On a more serious note, I actually visited Point Roberts in the summer of 2019 with my bike while staying in nearby Victoria - really nice places. It was well worth the hour and a half ride to the ferry terminal from downtown Victoria and another hour and a half riding the ferry to Tsawwassen, which is near Point Roberts, making a grand total of 3 hours one way.
