- This is AneSDK, a super challenging J hack of Super Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong Country). Shoutouts to my friend MrCatalyser who inspired me to make this as well as helping me out when I was in a pinch. Thank you bud!
This was started on the channel before, but I never finished. This is complete and mostly blind. There is an 'alt' version of the K Rool fight. I'll be publishing that shortly.
This is a wild ride. The sound glitches out because of something in 2-5. This can't be controlled. I have no doubt you can tolerate it. I did :) It's actually kind of funny in places.

Is this game possible without tool assist? I made it to 3-4 and I cannot acquire the ostrich :(. Been wanted to congratulate you on distortion country, BTW, that hack was FUN.

Alright man, 34:00 on the nose. I think the trick here starts with the metal barrel. Do you know the glitch here to make donkey kong throw the non-existent barrel that triggers the expresso box to open? I was thinking it might be possible to use the LR buttons to drag the screen away and prevent spawning the kremlin until you can get over there... I'm down to PM but don't have a twitch acct@@rainbowsprinklez

@@rainbowsprinkleznuts, okay. My controller broke and I've been trying to crack this part in my mind while I wait.
I nailed it. You keep the camera facing left and move backwards by pressing roll+right, then immediately pressing down+roll for the ground slap. Awkward move but can be done without tools. You can just barely crack the box open and get the ostrich in time. Whoever designed this thing had some time on their hands.

I have to respectfully disagree. These levels are super creative and challenging! And, how could they have broken anything? The original still exists. Plus, it brings more eyes to the original.
@@rainbowsprinklez Yes, agree is just a mod and maybe, just maybe it brings more eyes to vanilla which is good, but still that hackrom is for masochists, because there is a fine line between challenge and broken, and kaizo hacks are broken.
@@Raylightsen You also have to consider when and where this is from. This is from Japan in the early 2010s. Japan has a SIGNIFICANTLY different culture to ours. Also, they had a limited set of tools. There is a reason most of the J haacks have similar, what you call, 'breaks.' You also have to consider target audience. For example, this mod was made to challenge the dev's sister. For these reasons, I give this a pass.
@@rainbowsprinklez Oh my, that hack is from 2010?, i wouldn't guess it myself, but i agree that Asia has a different taste in gaming, they are more hardcore, they crave for challenge for some weird unreasonable reason. I understand your point.
@@Raylightsen 2012 I believe, but close enough. Over 10 years ago. And yeah, I consider the target audience. These types of hacks are typically made for a small group of people. The internet being what it is, everyone got access.
