When you said "revenant are very fast when they have a line of sight and very slow when they don't just listen" and then my stomach growled
Just to note, it wasn’t clearly started but you will get footprints in the salt regardless of weather or not you get ultraviolet. The footprints will only appear green if the ghost leaves fingerprints/ultraviolet🥰

This is very helpful! I was gifted this for my birthday a couple weeks ago (same time the update dropped) and I've been lost! Thankfully, I have some experienced friends to play with, but this guide is very helpful in helping me understand how to work with limited equipment. Ty I played a lot in the year it came out and was about lvl 600 the last time I played was when The Nightmare difficulty was added and now that its got more content Iwant to get in again and this video was perfect for that.

Since the ghosts close the front door during events now, is there another way to tell if it's a hunt or not? Especially if you're not near the front door. Or any good indicators that it's not a deogen so that you don't get caught in a hiding spot?
Without the evidence to prove otherwise, you won't know it's a deogen until it hunts. I do have a hunt versus event video you may like but a real tell tell sign is the front door locking

All of this T1 shit is so much harder in VR now. You can *BARELY* see the thermometer or the video camera screen. I have to physically be touching my hand to my face while holding the items in order to see them.

I've lost all knowledge of this game from playing on Insanity to back to Intermediate They reworked this game from the ground up ever since the wipe. lol
I wish they didnt rework the system because it's not the same anymore I can't tell what the ghost is anymore without equipment I used to be able to play No Equipment runs

This update has been in the works for a while now. The core gameplay is still the same, just different for as far as replayability

You said if there isn't UV then there wont be footprints, but earlier I gotnthe Raiju and it left footprints but doesn't have UV as evidence. Am I misunderstanding?
