PAINTING DIECAST MODEL CARS -1954 Chev Pickup Custom (M2 Machines) BIG BLOWER!!. Here at Diecast Resurrection we specialize in painting diecast model cars. In today's video I did a beautiful paintjob on this M2 Machines Diecast Truck. I wanted a 50's vibe and I think I did a good job pulling it off. Who am I kidding it turned out pretty stunning! One TIP for spraying two tone paint jobs after spraying the main colour and after masking up on a complex masking job and you think you may get a tiny bit of bleed though to stop it from happening after masking spray a very light mist of the first main colour wait to dry then spray second colour because if you spray the first main colour after masking any bleed will be the same as the main colour then the second colour on top take off masking NO BLEED THOUGH on if a small amount of paint did get under the masking it was the same main colour

That’s a winner! I can’t help but wonder what it would look like if the colours were inverted.
Very nice. I prefer the M2 cars over most others due to scale and detail. They cost more but are worth it. Problem right now is finding them at any local retailer.

You should look into liquid masks that model makers use, brush on and peel off. Fills in contours beautifully.

I would love to see you try a rat rod style gasser or hot rod would be very interesting also a bare metal look rod just stripped left bare metal and satin clear put over it very different but also very unique..
