Idk why but I really want to say this, yes even though all the hashira (except misturi) lost their family and etc, Giyuu lost his loved people over and over, instead of losing everything at once he was forced to lose stuff slowly over time, starting with his parents, then few years later his sister, more years, Sabito, and a couple of more years, almost all of the hashira and almost even tanjiro which tanjiro reminded of Sabito it would’ve been hard on Giyuu if tanjiro didn’t make it habe the fight with muzan it would’ve been like losing Sabito again, that’s why I think Giyuu has the worst story out of all the hashira even though in most of these reactions (where Giyuu and sanemi weren’t tg) that Sanemi is angry at Giyuu because the same thing happened to all of them, buts it’s different then losing everything at once than losing stuff over and over

Makomo was already deceased when Giyu was taken in by Urokodaki. But with that being said, the two are both fellow pupils of Urokodaki and users of the Water Breathing so they do have something in common"

The edit on 9:23 is, for me, fake. Because Tsutako died when Giyu was around 6 years old. And as we see, in season 3 Sanemi's and Genya's past, Sanemi was around 10 years old. So, for me, it's fake, since Sanemi and Giyu are the same age. But you can think what you want about it, this is what i think about it.
