I'm impressed they both gave trade offers, rejected them, said they would cheat anyways, and proceeded to not cheat.
Kinda hilarious that the way it shook out doug in no way needed it and mbt knew it wouldn't even help.

MBT goes into the pack where the Vaylantz are the main draw, gets no Vaylantz

tbh the disparity made it unentertaining to watch as some had said its like the pro T1 player going all out against the locals kid with a structure deck it so one sided it was hard to even watch as some other commenters also have said

pull wise yes, but the biggest stomp was the episode where mbt played ancient gears, tied with dzeef adventure pack

Mate I had to use galaxy war without the Kozmo fieldspell nor any tinmans or farm girls. I did pull a Double hooking out of pack and a majority of the B.E.S cards tho so this'll be a very interesting week for me

This episode was like watching someone with a structure deck while the other guy is playing a T1 deck. And the person with the structure deck is trying to figure out why Konami included certain cards

Yeah, I didn't even know half of the Vaylantz pack is Performapal. We all know how bad that archetype performed in both Saga and Roulette.

So here's what Joseph doesn't know, he clearly just needs to be Doug when pulling.
I think Doug ligit has dino DNA. These pulls and then when he played dino the last time he pulled super conductor, 3 misc, 3 fossil dig. It's the only explanation.
Suggestion: when the wheel runs out, make a new one to explore mirror matches with. MBT even had a Twitter thread discussion about mirror matches before, so he should be quite familiar with it. If it becomes the exact same deck again each other or 20 pack as usual, is probably best for Doug to decide.

Are these the most one-sided holo pulls in the history of Roulette? I can't imagine a universe where Doug's pulls were better and Joseph's pulls were worse for these packs.
Either this or MBT’s BA pulls from episode 5(?)
@@cancerstinks1 YES I knew Joseph had some insane pulls early on but I couldn't remember specific examples. I think this surpasses it in terms of the gap in pull quality but in terms of the power of the decks themselves that BA deck was out of this world while Doug's deck barely functioned without Eye of Selene.
There was that one time where Doug lost like 12 episodes in a row. I don't remember what happened exactly but there had to have been some big holo disparity in at least a few of those episodes.
@shapular I mean tbf Joseph had more experience with random archetypes due to the content he makes while Doug tends to learn to play 1 deck very well at a single time and be pretty good so Joseph tends to know what the cards both players have can do while Doug is usually flying by the seat of his pants and even then still puts up a fight and can win showing that they're both skilled players
I like the how Dinomorphia is all about the only life point that matters is the very last one, but I hate that the best play of the deck is just to summon skill drain on legs. Completely kills my interest in playing it.
Kinda, though you could just pivot using Rexterm to summon PEP

Doug, MBT doesn't get the bonus free pull because he has opened it already. You neglect to tell him every time to get an extra single pack, so he is playing with 1 pack less than you in the new pack matches.
I like how Dzeeff is acting like this was in any way close.

Vaylantz was always a big risk in sealed, sadly. Not only are they UR-heavy, because of how their field spells work, you need at least one copy of each (both UR) for either of them to do anything. The sad thing is, if he had managed to pull that off, those fields would have been the perfect counter to Doug's strategy.
MBT put up a better fight than could be expected, given the insanity of Doug's pulls.
I think at this point it would be kinda funny if MBT just shows up with a fully crafted deck next time.

My favorite part was when Joseph learned the real line was the Wall of Disruption he set along the way and then Doug yelled "It's Dinomorbia Time!" -- and then Dinomorbbed all over him
When I see episodes like this, I like to remember that Doug earlier in the series went on a 20+ week losing streak.

This was great even if it was uneven it was entertaining to watch mbts reaction to dougs pulls and to routing for the underdog aspect of can he pull out a win anyway (and vice versa just because mbt was clearly underdog in this episode). Im not watching roulette for the highest quality dueling id watch tournament highlights or something if thats what i wanted. This is probably my favourite yugioh playing series on youtube because of the drama, the chemistry variety of duels that we get, not knowing if the duel will be good or not is part of the fun for me. Also the fact i love limited in general is part of it but youtube is full of limited yugioh content.
This was a great episode in my mind largely because of the drama of the pull disparity etc, i wouldnt want every episode to be like this but i like the possibility of it. I see some negative comments and get that those people just enjoy this for different reasons than me but i wouldnt want to change this format too much.
In an ideal world the games would be competitve but for example in that first match there was a very real possibility in my mind doug was gonna lose to wall. Game wasnt competitive but there was a possible wincon etc and thats enough for me.
Great episode, keep it up lads i hope something similar continues once you finish the wheel.
I know it was one sided, but still enjoyed this, just for the absurdity of it all, obviously, good, close games are the best, but the joys of sealed are sometimes just watching someone's luck simply be better imo.
As one of the few vaylantz players, I’m so sad that MBT got completely outclassed on luck alone. I really wanted to see one of the archetypes I love the most at least show off what it can do

I know Doug said Vaylantz doesnt need high end as much, but it still needs the Field spells, both of them, in equal quantities. Being able to craft 1 would not be unreasonable.
