I was thinking of buying but this isn't the first review i've seen where Anovos are a huge pain in the ass. Glad you got it sorted in the end but i'm disappointed we didn't get to see the whole look with the costume on! 😂
I just want to say thank you for this video. I picked up a pack on EBay and have been building it up. Mine was just like yours... it's all over the place, bad hole placement, tons of re-drilling, tons of 2 part Epoxy. It was nuts. I'm missing the barbs for the green hose, so still haven't figured that out yet. That lack of instructions thing is right on. This is a joke. For my gun bolts on the bottom, mine were so bad that I had to dremel out all the holes on the body and epoxy in some nuts to hold it all together. I could not get the factory holes to line up for the life of me, and mine was stripping out badly and popping up like yours. Now it sits flush, easy to take off and on... thankfully.
Go to the gbfans.com site to get the hose barbs. I am building an Anovos kit right now and I have replaced most of the Anovos parts with parts available at gbfans. The quality is much better than the Anovos parts pretty much across the board.

I also don't have my alice frame I ordered either. it really was a pleasure knowing I wasn't the only one who has issues with the kit. I would really like to connect with you and pick your mind on how you fixed some things. I absolutely love what you did with your pack. I have alot of questions and I don't want to bon barred your page with a whole list of them. but I have have a hard time figuring out how you did some of the things to your pack. please help shed some light in detail for me how you got your electronics to work on the wand. I looked on mine and I threw my hands up into the air because theres no way to be able to throw electronics to the tip of the want buttons...unless you figured that out... there are no holes for it. I can show you with a video if you'd like to show you what I mean. I'm just puzzled if you figured that out. so what kinds of glue did you use? I was going to use epoxy but I wasn't sure if that was the best route. Is your wand grip for the left hand too far away from the switches? I feel like mine is. I've got tons more questions and I feel like you're the most reliable source. unless you feel more comfortable with me just giving you the list of my questions on here. what do you think? thank you so much for your time and again fantastic work on your pack buddy I hope mine turns out just as great as yours. props to you and your dad.!! ^_^
I think your video is very informative since I am in the midst of my Anovos Ghostbusters Proton Pack build. You mentioned that you were able to place a large car stereo speaker in the pack. Can you provide the make and model? I want to make sure that the speaker I get fits well inside. Thanks!

Just wondering about a certain aspect of this shell. Specifically where the HGA attaches. I know its and peg and hole set up but can that peg on the shell be cut off without leaving a hole? Basically is that peg moulded hollow or is .ore of a solid piece? Reason I ask is I'm buying one locally and the HGA is missing from the kit and I want add a resin cast from gbfans. Any info would be beyond helpful. Thanks.
I feel so sorry for you dude. Do you feel like you’ve totally wasted your money on this now that Hasbro have done their amazing weathered pack with lights and effects and tons of accessories for $350? Anovos should be ashamed in my opinion.
When you buy Anovos you are paying for the bragging rights of saying you own a fully licenced product. That's it. You pay out the ass to simply say you own a fully licenced product. I bought their 500 dollar Star-Lord vol 2 jacket and man did i get ripped off. It was a pleather jacket with faux crap lining. I ended up reselling it and buying a full leather one for 100 bucks off EBay. I can't stand Anovos and their shit quality props. Thankfully they are finally being sued. Anovos is and has always been crap. I wouldn't at all be surprised if your pack gonks out after a month.

I built my own complete shell, and motherboard in styrene card and got resin parts to finish off.
What in the world happened to the Gunbox Baseplate? It's not even straight.
GB2 style. It's so the neutrona wand hands at an angle instead of straight up.

Never ever buy/preorder from Anovos unless you are willing to wait 3 to 4 years for a soft goods product that isnt even accurate
