I want to get one but i don't know if it is a good choice, i am worried it would stop working as soon as i get it. Could you tell me how it has been working for you recently?
There certainly have been a lot of people having a lot of issues with this system. All I can tell you is mine has worked flawlessly since I bought it and is still working great. We play it all the time. The quality of the builds of these are not great. They are cheap Chinese systems. It’s a gamble. A lot of people are saying their controllers won’t connect. The controllers are on the same bandwith (2.4Ghz) as WiFi, which could be causing interference. I turned off 2.4Ghz on my router so my home WiFi is only on 5Ghz. That may be why I’m not having problems. It really is a crap shoot buying one of these.
Can the screen aspect be corrected to 4:3 as the original? Everything seems stretched horizontally to fit the new wide screen TVs.
No. & plus the games run really choppy.
Some time it want work the screen is blue and pink

I cant find in the Amazon listing for where the manufacture is giving the actual list of platforms and the games for each of those platforms which comes with the system
Plugged mine into tv via hdmi and nothing happened. Tv wont detect device
Mine didn't work initially as I was using a different set of instructions that said to use a converter to provide power via wall outlet. Once I scrapped that and provided the power via the TV, then TV then saw it.

Hey. I got one of these recently but can't seem to exit out of a game back to the main menu, so have to keep resetting the stick, can you help? Thanks

I can get to the main menus but I cannot move the curser to select or choose 😢a game.. any advise ? My controllers mode and power ( green and red ) won’t stop blinking either
Your controller is not connecting to the Gamestick. I know the range is not great and if the Gamestick is hidden behind the tv, it might not be getting the signal

You haven't said about one most important thing - lag between controller and game stick. Is there any? An when you play using 2 controllers (2 players games) is there any lag you feel?
There is a very slight lag. It’s the same if you use two controllers. It doesn’t get worse. It’s less than half a second.
I just baught one , its verrry laggy , in case of wanting to use too players just forget it , because it will ether render the game more laggy or it will freeze and reboot , i am using KOF 98 as a reference , its competitif and needs lots of inputs from boths sides if you playing 2 players . note : PS1 games with one Stick are very laggy , and more than 200 ms of input lag in 1 player . in 2 players it freezes a lot

Yes it does
does anyone know why this keeps cutting out and rebooting? Every time i click on a game it'll load, but then it'll go to "no video" on my HDMI and reload.
I have not had that problem but my best guess is it’s not getting enough power through the USB port and that’s why it keeps shutting down and rebooting. Your TV’s USB port might not be putting out enough amps. Try using a USB/AC adapter and plugging it directly into a wall outlet. I think it needs at least 1amp output.

What is the USB plug for?
Just got mine today and have two issues
1. It did not come with the unifying receiver, but I had one for a wireless mouse
2. When I press start on a game nothing happens. Tried it on several different games and the same thing
If you didn’t get the receiver programmed to your controllers then certain functions like START probably won’t work. Using a receiver from a mouse would allow some functions to work but not all.
I already contacted Amazon and they are sending me a new system
Okay now I am thoroughly confused. I got my replacement system today and it also does not have the universal receiver! I immediately called Amazon tech support and he read off the list of accessories it comes with and guess what it does not come with? Yep. Universal receiver. So what is the usb slot for and how will it work without the universal receiver? Please help!
UPDATE: ion a whim I decided to go ahead and set it up as is without the universal receiver and guess what? It works fine! Obviously they made improvements to the original version that does not require the universal receiver, but for some reason left the usb port on the gamestick to confuse people
Why my stick constantly lose signal when playing for about 8 minutes
It’s either overheating or the signal to the controller is being blocked. If your tv is right up against the wall with no air flow to it, the stick will overheat. If that’s the case, you need a HDMI extension like this. amzn.to/3Ol31K9
On my tv, the stick plugs into the side, not the back, so I don’t have that problem.

I’m thinking about getting one of these, but before I have a question. Could this be plugged into a PC (or laptop, same thing basically)? I’d like to know if there’s any way I can use this on my PC while still being able to run windows for other stuff at the same time, or being on a call on PC while I play its games
The only way I can think of doing this is to plug the Gamestick into a HDMI capture card and that into the PC, then using OBS studio to see it and put it in fullscreen. That would work. Otherwise I don’t see being able to do that.
Hey Mike thanks for the review, just started playing this exact game stick with my son and all is good for about 10 mins the it cuts out. The game stick feels very hot at this point. We give it 15 mins to cool down then can play for another 10 mins before it heats up and cuts out again (by cutting out it loses signal in HDMI port and doesn’t register anything plugged in). Has this happened to you, any ideas? Cheers
I have not had that problem. We’ve played for hours at a time with no issues. But I will also say my tv is not right up against the wall so there is good air flow around it which might be keeping it cool. Maybe try putting a small fan blowing air behind the tv just to see if that fixes the problem.

Yo mike i like the review, left an abo. Im always curious about the different android gamig machines, what you have is an pandoras box clone and is mostly used to play 80 early 90 arcade games from neogeo mvs, cps 1+2 arcade board and others. The nintendo nes games are mostly romhacks and not originals thats why the weird names due legal reasons and i guess you are not bad in the games, from what i hear from your button presses and the animation in the game is that it have extreme input lag what is common from this gaming sticks with wireless controller. Try used it wired and btw. The 64gb sd card holds all the games and a ps2 memory card is 6mb :) thanks for the review
Thanks for the reply. After playing it more, there are varying clone versions but the NES originals are in there too, you just have to find them. Every game I could think of to search for I’ve found. There isn’t any lag at all on the originals. A couple of examples of original games I’ve played are Excitebike, Double Dribble, Ninja Gaiden, & Jaws. We also found the original Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. The Mortal Kombats are great.
@@MikesWorld1how is the preformance? Did you realize stutters or lower framerate on ps1 games or nintendo64? My son always ask me to play my nes snes ps and n64 collection but i worry the wear and tear. This little machine would be perfect to play coop with my 6yrs old without stressing my original equipment
I didn’t notice any of that on the original versions. The off-versions I did see it. For instance, the original Mortal Kombats are perfect but the other versions it’s noticeable.

You would have to buy a USB to HDMI capture card and then run it through OBS and put it in fullscreen. So, yes, but with a few ad ons.
Is there a lot of input lag from the controller?
There is some but, to me, it’s minimal. The game is really hurts me on us Jaws.

No charging whatsoever. Controllers need batteries and you just plug in and play. No auto saves you have to save GAME Progress yourself. And no cheats

Return it for a refund. I’m really not sure why there are so many units having so many issues. One problem I did notice is the sticks get really hot and seem to stop working when plugged into 4k TV’s. Mine defaults to graphics for the tv it’s plugged into. 4k just seems to run it too hot and it stops working. Plugged into a 1080p or 720p tv or monitor, it works fine. 🤷♂️
@@MikesWorld1 Yes it just wasn't working out the box, I just returned it today. They have a newer model *White model on TikTok shop so hopefully I have better Luck with that.

Can I set resoultion picture? becase Picture bigger than tv
Someone told me to unplug the power, remove the SD card, then power up and it will go into a mode where you can set the resolution. I tried it and it didn’t work. The SD has a bunch of settings files that probably could be changed in a laptop but I haven’t tried any of that yet.

Great little stick but..... anyone any idea you get back to the menu after quitting a game ?
To get to the game main menu you hit A then go to RESTART. To get to the main main menu do the same but select QUIT.
Mine wont even start now. Just loads and loads. Now it wont even do that. Garbage.
