My friend Kieth McComack was plaing rhythem guitar on this song in 1960 as a 15 year old. I was his fight instructor in 1972 when we met in Springfield, Missouri when he was playing there at the Alibi Lounge. He had his pilot's license but had not flown in several years and I was a young flight instructor going to college and got him recurrent as a pilot. Keith played the song Brandy, You're a Fine Girl that night and just killed it! Sounded just like the Looking Glass who recorded it that year. I loved that song and had to speak to him later that night and I convinced Keith to give up music and fly for a living.
This was the very first time I ever came across one of your videos und I am so thrilled that I clicked the play button. I very much enjoyed your performance and was reminded of that time a few decades ago and this song was actually first released in 1961 - the year of my birth. So thank you for that sweet souvenir taking me back to my youth for a moment. Now I will go on and listen to a few more of your songs. All the best - keep on playing!
