Magnus collapse is the true MVP of this TI. Literally initiating a lot of Team Spirit kills (pickoffs) of this tournament. Even Team Spirit banned undying in game 5 just to have Collapse have a good lane and lead their pickoffs later.

TorontoTokyo earned his "ez game" right. All 5 games were absolutely fantastic. Their mentality is really strong, playing 8 games and beating both Secret and LGD, they even beat the strongest tiny lycan combo.

Here’s my analysis of why it made sense from LGD’s point of view to not ban Magnus. TLDR is that LGD did not need to ban Magnus, but TS made a gambit to allow LGD take its Tiny-Lycan combination so that it could get Magnus, and LGD accepted the gambit as it was confident in their Tiny-Lycan combination.
1. The ban and pick orders are very important as it allowed LGD to have first pick while having confidence in what TS would have banned with their second ban, which also meant that LGD did not need to ban Magnus.
a. In the first ban phase, it was LGD-TS-LGD-TS. And in the first pick phase, it was LGD-TS-TS-LGD.
b. LGD had already showed in game 4 that it could use Magnus well, so it knew that TS knew that LGD could first pick it to deny TS from picking it. That in turn meant two things: (i) LGD did not need to ban Magnus with either ban picks, and (ii) TS would have to ban Magnus or Tiny with their second ban pick.
c. So far, LGD actually got TS cornered. That’s because TS would have to either ban Tiny and let LGD get Magnus, or ban Magnus and let LGD get Tiny. Because LGD’s Tiny (+Lycian) was so feared, it was more likely that TS would ban Tiny and let LGD get Magnus. So that’s a double win for LGD - it did not have to use a ban on Magnus, while LGD had the credible threat of taking away TS’ best hero.
2. TS made a gambit in allowing LGD get their Tiny- Lycan combination, so that it could get Magnus for itself.
a. By banning Undying using their second ban, TS effectively told LGD that it would be taking Magnus. Hence, LGD was left with a choice between Magnus and Tiny as its first pick.
b. The crux here is that LGD had confidence in their Tiny-Lycan combination, and thus went with it. (Personally, I wouldn’t call it a bait. LGD fully knew what it was signing up for, and had confidence in their own strategy. This is legitimate in my opinion, given how good it was against Team Secret.)
c. Remember the pick order - LGD-TS-TS-LGD - and see how LGD knew it could definitely pull off a Tiny-Lycan even without two picks in a row. LGD knew that TS will pick offlane Magnus since it had already banned Undying to enable a Magnus pick. And because it isn’t a flex pick for TS, TS definitely would not have picked Lycan with its second pick, since Lycan had been ran as an offlaner the whole tournament.

I just feel that the game could have been drafted better. Don't quite see the point of getting enchant to secure the lane for tiny, silencer would have been a better pick to disrupt chain stun and stopping grip, will also prevent cold embrace and ember from flying around

It's a total team effort. They won't be able to pull off those amazing plays without each other. All five of them. They compliment each other so well and synergizes so much. Happy for Silent, he invented the Wisp+CK back in the day when he was a player for Team Empire and now as a coach he became a TI Champ. Team Spirit just raised the bar a bit higher, Yatoro is the best carry ever, so many heroes and always so good but the whole team just has this amazing movement and understanding of the game they knew where their heroes should be and their vision control is the best.

Collapse has the highlights but when u look at their team , yatoro can basically play any carry role which really gives them the upperhand, miposhka saves really turned the tide on every battle, toronto has his moments but basically he’s just a clean up crew, mira is just solid nothing more nothing less.

I think LGDs biggest mistake was picking tiny after seeing TS destroy every tiny thrown at them. Secret picked same strat previous game and failed. Maybe they underestimated TS/Secret or overconfidence on LGDs part. For me, Sumail’s tiny was the strongest tiny and it still failed against them.

The moment i saw tiny lycan combo i knew LGD is going to lose.
The draft is always defeatable in theory. I think LGD believed in their execution but Yataro was able to sense every gank attempt on him in the last game even though he had no vision over 99% of the map. That to me is the MVP of the match. I know most people think Collapse was the MVP with the flashy plays but to me, Yataro not dying as a TB was another MVP worthy player
That mean's they are not comfortable with their best strategy and this is game 5 on grand finals with everything on the line, innovating spontaneously might be a worst fate than going with comfort. I have no problem with Xiao8's draft.
They even banned Sven, because last time TS stopped the Lycan and Tiny combo using Sven. But Yataro and Collapse are just too good. Specially Yataro, he has really good game sense.
I lowkey want Ame to win and see him succeed; he's the only humble member of the old LGD roster with fy. Even if you watch true sight he never bad mouthed OG. Also its a redemption of some sort as he was heavily scrutinized for that TI8 loss by the Chinese dota community. Anyways, congrats TS, from Eastern EU Qualifiers to TI10 Champions. EZ game indeed!

Spirit were on a hard lower bracket run, but dominated it.
OG were on a upper bracket run, but each game was like a grand final, from comeback to comeback.
So TI8 OG run > TI10 Spirit run. Just my opinion ^.^
I personally think based on their run through the main stage team spirit better than og. But og had to deal with sudden roster change and so on (basically the drama) weeks before the qualifiers start. So yeah there's the differences.
On a side note I wonder how this year true sight will be with no crowd and so on. No "Go home team spirit" and the like.

Of all the teams that would bring back the Aegis to CIS who would have thought Team Spirit would be the one to do it, after a decade it comes back to the region which first won it. New players winning is a great thing for this scene, even as an OG fan if they did win TI again I would just feel meh the pro scene is just the same, but now we have new people coming into the scene, means new blood is coming into the game. Out of 10 kids nowdays even if we get 1 to stick to Dota 2 it would be great boost for the game. I am not playing Dota 2 anymore does not mean that I would like to see the game die right before my eyes. Them winning is a great thing for all of us.

Team spirit is just so stronk they destroyed the former TI Champ and when you think about it this series against LGD I think they just playing with them in game 3 and 4 picking up cheese heroes like PA and Axe but when they want to win it they just win it in a convincing fashion
Undying destroy them in game 3-4 that's why they change draft but in game 5 they ban undying meaning they can go back to their own meta.

Team Spirit played well overall especially in game 5 where they managed to avoid every single ganks on their TS cores. Also, LGD misplayed their timings especially the teamfight at tier 2 tower bot lane at around 19mins in the game, they gave a way so much networth in that fight.
Game 3 was a testament how TSp can kite really well and evade ganks, theyre so good
