I’m in the process of getting a service dog and I will make sure that all of his vests say interact instead of distract! I never thought about it that way, but I like to avoid public interaction as much as possible.
, I always enjoy seeing peoples gear collection and you’re right it’s a great way to highlight the realities of having a service dog and the difference between having a dog with you everywhere or mostly everywhere and what the general public means when they say they want to bring their dog everywhere just somewhere on occasion not realizing how much goes into it when you actually do it all or most of the time.
I agree about only putting your dog in one thing. We are getting on vest for each of our children's Autism service dogs.
🤔 Let's be real! The community doesn't read. They just see a "cute puppy" and don't respect the vest! I've learned to be aware of my surroundings and side step grasping fingers! It was good to see your gear, though. It's always fun to see what others are using! TFS.
