Thanks for sharing your passion sir. I visited the museum in 1997 on a trip from the USA. At the time there was a Bonneville and a Commando back home that I cherished. The museum was astounding to me and I took many rolls of film of photos. The vast collection demonstrates the myriad possibilities and creativity of motorcycle enthusiasts. Thanks again for preserving this collection that is a testament to human potential.
Really entertaining and informative video! Took me a while to realize that Sammy was talking about himself in the third person. That guy knows everything about every bike and rider in that collection. Would love to visit his museum one day.

We are lucky to live not too far from Sammy Millers Museum. Sammy is a great ambassador and always willing to talk to you about anything (not just bikes) If you are in the area defiantly worth a visit fantastic collection of bikes

I'm visiting UK again this June, I'll have to somehow manage another visit and hopefully meet the great man again.🇦🇺
Yes Sammy, I did enjoy your racing memories of the past, who could not enjoy such a wealth of information that brings the bikes you have in the musium to life. The joy and enthusiasum that you clearly have for the geat days in racing you were lucky to be a part of. Hope to see you at Easter when we pay our annual visit to the museum.

I've been lucky enough to see you twice at Pukekohe once on the V4 AJS (perhaps my all time favourite machine) & then the Guzzi V8. Now I really do need to get to that museum of yours.
Thanks for sharing this video of the the SM Museum. Some great motorcycle memories and stories shared…..wonderful. Too many beautiful and evocative machines to select as favourites, but I enjoyed the story of Moto Guzzi gifted its potential (racing) future to the recently created Ducati.
My son raced a 1992 Honda rs 125 beautiful bike...it's amazing to see racers in original condition...Eric Fernihough was a very very brave man indeed , killed at age 33. I've read about a lot of these bikes from buying Classic Motorcycle Magazine in the early 80s with Bob Currie as editor......I spied a Wooler at the start of the video, was it restored using only one spanner?
A fascinating and riveting presentation, by SM the legend. What a tragedy that Britain made and successfully raced a v4 four stroke long before it was copied by the 'rising sun'. Similarly, they also stole/helped themselves to MZ's (Walter Cardin's - V2) expansion chamber design...
More "what might have been". It makes me angry that all these developements, years before anyone else, essentially came to nothing. BSA and the MC1 is a good example of how certain individuals swung the hammer that put the nails in the coffin of the British bike indistry.
I specially love the tales of the bsa, that was not raced, because the could not guarantee the victory, then it should not race. No wonder why they closed, typical English conservative thinking. 😢

A wonderful collection of lesser known racebikes. Funny, not a single Norton. Though he has talked a lot of them in other videos.
Just an update last time I was there he had just got Peter Williams Norton commando 1973 TT winner .ps I was there watched him win 🏆.

The B S A team shouldve gaurenteed a win..and went any way.
