when I bought this I was aware there could be faulty parts, being from China, so when I assembled, I took my time and carefully pieced bits together, making sure it was all in align, the trick is making sure the screen holders lay dead flat onto the platen
If you cant inderstand what these couple of parts do and how to make adjustments and make it do what you need it to do its probably fair to say maybe silkscreening isnt for you. I could make a career out of Tshirts and a Sharpie pen. I print what I want and peoole swoop them up. I dont take assignments. I do this for me. I get to express myself in ways people can relate to and they swoop them up. Its like music. Its art. Let it be what it is. Beauty isnt in everybody being identical clones of some idea of perfection. Beauty is in the flaws. Thats where individuality comes from. Be yourself and own it.
This is a follow up comment two years later... for those who are thinking of buying this exact printing press .. do yourself a favor and save your money .. it is not worth it.. it is not accurate, the welding is random, the arms dont perfectly match and you will not be able to use it for halftones in particular. you "might" be able to do single color print but thats it. spend a little extra and buy a more professional one instead.. thats just my thought.. I had bad experience with this cheap brand.
On mine the plastic handled screw clamps for the screens, one of them didn't fit the thread on the nut that is welded into the screen holder. Had to find a bolt with the same thread. You get what you pay for I guess.
I put mine together without instructions. Mine works fine. Its not perfect but a little work never killed anybody.I can register everything well enough. If you cant handle this it may explain why so many fail at silkscreening. Ingenuity and problem solving and common sense is really what silkscreening is. I wont do heat transfers. This is an artform. For artists. I used to handcut everything. No emulsion. Actually it was more work but had less chances for problems. I bet all these computer operators cant even silkscreen at all without a computer. And that prettu much sums it all up. Get a degree at the University of Common Sense and life will be easier for you in every aspect of life.
had the same issues as me. only got one spring on each press too. i was refunded 75 percent of my money on ebay and got to keep the unit. i think i saw you post on screenprinting Qand a on facebook once?
I'm having a issue I don't know if it's the 10x14 screen I have but I cannot adjust my screen to pallet height my screen is to far away do you know how to adjust it
I love how this is the only guy on CZcams who knows exactly what my problems are but never uploaded videos showing how to fix them ...

Just take the Smallest L wrench and adust it ..I heard people was making extra holes smh
I had to put some washers under the bearings holding the arms in order to get some decent off-contact.
I did research and got a springer from nevertheless. It's the real version of this press. And you can add micros.

a put same tape around the metal ti fix the problem, another problem is if lift the screen hard you will rip the metal on the screw where it rest.

I still never figured out how to fix the registration tab problem! Mine are all different and it’s very hard to print anything over 1 color

Your springs are on upside down
His spings are upside down , I put washers in mine to keep the base straight . Mine works great

All you need to do is file tabs to same size. Took longer to complain than fix it.

solution is don’t buy cheap press because this is the most important part of the process so spend the money on a decent press
so bad machine, dont buy it
