Trakhamr needs to donate a conversion for a full in depth review of installation and then mileage.
I am baffled as to why youtube videos on this topic of 4 wheel conversion barely show the converted car (not just your video btw). I think the conversation had great info but I wish you had included more video of the actual vehicle. I especially like the capt america theme. I would have loved to have seen more video of the whole vehicle. BTW the automatic slingshot is coming, the video has been leaked online.
I appreciate the feedback. You're right, I probably should have taken more video. Things were super busy last weekend and I had a ton of interviews left to do. Fortunately, Grant only lives about and hour and a half from me and we will be doing more videos together soon
@@BillyandBobbySlingshotShow good on you for covering this interesting topic. You should do a video on the 2020 model once the promo video is officially released. The video is leaked on facebook btw. I would hold off until the actual specs get released in the coming weeks so there is enough to talk about.

1 minute in and couldn't take the music any longer.
Next time I'd do the interview in the middle of the road instead of off to the side. That way we won't be able to hear anything at all instead of just a few parts
Although, it is no longer a Slingshot when this conversion is done, I personally when feel more comfortable driving it having 2 wheels in the rear instead of 1.
Just wonder if it will be a off road version of this (and don't say the RZR because that doesn't count)???

Granted I'll give you a trophy for the clickbait status.... But it is possible that people are modifying these incorrectly, creating a slingshot that does not handle properly. It's not like you can just add to wheels and start driving. It takes expert fabrication to do this stuff. You need to have a lot of the information that the original manufacturer had. Weight distribution, suspension everything

What are the main problems with the three wheel vehicle that would entice you to spend another 10 grand to add a 4th wheel ? Can anyone answer that question ?
Mainly to put down addition power to the ground when you are supercharged or turbo or if you like the look.

Still cheaper than buying a lotus/Ariel atom. Power to weight in this would still be greater than a lotus Elise even with the 4th wheel.

IN the state of MICHIGAN the police could summons you take your ride and impound at your expense as well as other costly expenses providing you do not injure or kill some one your INS will not even pay as they never want to anyway SECRETERY of state clearly states the rules for 3 and 4 wheel vehicles as well as motorcycles and mopeds. All it takes is a officer having a bad day or has to fill their quota for the month.

First buy a force induction system before you even think doing the 4 wheel conversion. Otherwise you loose a lot more money in the long run. Just my opinion
This could have been a good interview if it weren't for the traffic behind you.

It's only a bad idea if the person doing the fabrication doesn't know what they're doing. It's a lot more complicated than just adding wheels.
When companies build equipment like this they do months upon months of testing and failure through EXPERT fabrication. If you go through the same process it can be
1. Obviously way better looking
2. Unique one of only a few.
3. Again with proper fabrication, it will handle better.
Also - All the people stressing about registration lol calm down... Buy it register it do the conversion and drive it end of story. Stop thinking that you're under the authority of the government over stupid shit like this. Just do it and drive it Christ man. Besides like he clearly said in the video, it's about VIN number

No other shots of the car after the first 90 seconds, just waffle and noise from the highway. WTH were they thinking about with the location? If all you’re gonna do is flap your gums do it inside ffs.
You do a lot of talking about BS, and showing less of what people wanna see which is a nice far away view of the vehicle. How it drives, how it sounds etc. you mite get more likes.
Adding a 4th wheel makes it classified as a car and that ends up requiring other features to be added on. So adding a 4th wheel makes this an illegal vehicle on the road.
I was thinking the same, airbags, safety features etc.

Most owners I've seen driving these, look like these two. 3 wheels to get out of automobile requirements, just voided. Automatic, terrible 💡 indeed.

This was a boring video! First of all the traffic over powered the video.We didn't see the Slingshot conversion kit to look at it close.The guy on the right likes to talk and say nothing.
