In the video, we demonstrate how to use the flight cover with the Auto Folding Mobility scooter:
Start by placing the strap over the back seat and hooking the ropes on the flight cover to the knobs on the scooter.
Preparing for gate checking: Inform the airport staff that you will be gate checking the scooter, which can be folded into a suitcase-sized shape, taking no more space than a stroller.
Removing the flight cover and folding the scooter at the airplane door: Before boarding, remove the flight cover, fold the scooter, and ensure the handlebars are accessible by unbuckling the necessary straps and adjusting the cover.
Covering the scooter: Slide the cover over the handlebar and adjust it to cover the edges, securing it with the ropes hooked to the scooter's knobs and buckling the straps under the wheels.
Final steps before checking in at the gate: Pull down the handlebar, zip the cover, and tighten the straps to secure the scooter properly before checking it in at the gate or the airplane door.
