The galvanized bucket would look really cute. Put some rocks or bags in the bottom to lift it up. Add some greenery from ur yard and pretty fall leaves. Will look really good on ur front porch.

Walk a dirt road ditch to gather tall grasses, milkweed, maybe rosehip stems and for winter cut some evergreen braches to stand in it. You could even tuck in some mini lights.

The wallet is hand tooled. Not pressed. Every line hand tooled! Great finds! ❤

  • @jeannettechristensen5494

The tall metal canister will be great for fall foliage. Place some small stones in the bottom for weight so it won't easily tip. Then stuff with newspaper or packing paper to desired height so the dried materials show off. The brown pod is a lotus pod and they look great in fall arrangements or even with pine branches and cones. You should be able to find all kinds of dried material, dried hydrangea, and grasses from friends gardens or even along the side of road or parking lot. Good luck!

The little pot with a handle and hole in the lid that you called a bean pot is actually for steaming single serving veggies in the microwave. And the board with ridges is a "wash board" . This was used before electricity to scrub, wash clothes. Nice Haul!

For the tin umbrella holder, an idea would be to find the tassels on the tops of corn stalks and gather a bunch to put in it. Like some others have said, put something heavy in the bottom so it doesn't tip over. Maybe a pretty burlap or olive green ribbon around the top of the tin and voila! I just made a fall wall hanging with a bunch of corn tassels and some branches from our trees that haven't turned colour yet.

Hi Kristen ~ You ladies that video your trips to the Goodwill Bins… the things I see , I feel so bad they are going into a landfill . I think a little Shop would be great. Do you watch “ Julie’s Designs and Signs?” She decided to start selling on-line and she finds homes for all those amazing items. I’m thankful because I buy from her and save the stuff. We don’t even have a Goodwill near us.
Add more branches from around your yard to add to your bucket. OR put plastic bags to the bottom to bring height to the ones you have in it. Nice find in the books! The Blue ones looked nice in the room you were sitting it. Matched the blue/white vase behind you.
How pretty was Ruby’s Copper Pot and the stand it went with 👍. LOL!!!

Separate the white pumpkins and brown natural weed (with the seed holes) and anything else salvageable into ziploc bags. You can use this items in future wreaths/arrangements. You can use the bucket for so many things, holding wrapping paper, packing paper, umbrellas, etc. If you don't know what to use it on right now just wait, you will. Beware of spiders. I've come across spiders in Goodwill dried flower arrangements. You've been warned, LOL!

Although you make that dress look good, I do find it kind of frumpy. Your haul was awesome. The galvanized bucket, is my favorite. I would Lose all the old dried stuff, keep the pumpkins. You need a fresher, crispy look and much taller. At Christmas, a small cut tree, inside just leaning against something would make the house smell great!

The goose on the top of the washbord would be destroyed. So it is more of a decoration. The pop up shop would be great during the Nebraska Junk Jont!

The galvanized bucket would make a cute umbrella bucket. 🌂

The tall tin you showed at the end of the video could be used as a container for displaying walking canes and umbrellas in your entry way.
