I go to the dollar store to stock up on name brand toothpaste that's there, toothbrushes, soap, etc. At the grocery store I go to clearance racks and get discounted meat. It's doable. Stock up on spices, herbs, salt, cheap dressings that can jazz up your food. Research farming coops and if you're adventurous, you can dumpster dive. Biden was asked the same question after this came up. He said there will be no "national lockdown". It would be determined by area. He also said stores that sell food would remain open regardless. There is no need to do a major stock up. The biggest problem the last time we had a surge was people hording. It's already happening again. I live in a small rural community and we had people coming from the big city in the next state to our little town trying to clear our stores out of TP, kleenex, disinfectant spray, rubbing alcohol & bread. Our local market owner showed them the door.. with their loaded carts left behind. I've always kept enough food to last a month for my family and rotate those goods - oldest out to use & replaced in each shopping trip. No matter what you're calling it - this is still panic buying. I also have a container garden growing in totes I picked up used at yard sales over the last few years that gives me the produce I need. I have them in a small greenhouse that has a vent from my house to the greenhouse to keep it warm.

I’m not trying to start a political debate; however Biden flip-flops like a caught fish. He originally said there would be a 4 to 6 week lockdown. I don't think we need a lock down, well not exactly/we need a PLAN.
MOST people don't need to lose their jobs/income/hours don't need to be cut.
More info, and I know its A LOT, but a good plan/a plan that goes indepth/fixes a problem/helps allot, requires depth/allot of pieces have to go into it.
Also allot of this answers/addresses, A LOT of other questions/concerns as well.
I honestly don't see anything wrong with lock downs. Meaning EVERYTHING/MOST things are DIGITAL, NOW DAYS ANYWAY, and what TRULY isn't, can be deamed essential, meaning ANYONE that works with a physical product, a computer doesn't count, UNLESS, your maintaining servers HARDWARE/if you can remote access it, that doesn't count, also Maintaining internet, also the electric companies, field workers/maintenance workers, ARE ESSENTIAL, the desk workers are not essential/don't need to leave their homes/they can use VOIP/the internet/email/portals/Zoom/some other service like SKYPE, JUST LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER, AT HOME WORKERS, other essential workers, Fedex,UPS,USPS, also if you work in a warehouse, grocery store, TO PREPARE, groceries/other products, for delivery/for doordash/instacart/stock shelves/unload trucks, if your an RN,LPN,CNA,DR,surgeon, Ambulance driver, police officer, if you need to be at a vet, to receive dogs/cats/animals, also CERTAIN medical procedures/care, is permitted, WITH the RIGHT PPE, such as respirators/hazmat suits. Also SOME garage door/door services are essential, such as medical garage doors.
Anyway a lock down, MEANS NOTHING/NOTHINGS changed, other than HOW WE DO BUSINESS, WHICH IS A LOT MORE EFFICIENT, ANYWAY, meaning less gas is being used in vehicles, less TIME IS BEING WASTED, while driving to a location, the business, is still happening though, A LOT of the money lost, in the oil fields, can be transferred over to the renewable resources field, such as solar panels, wind turbines, water mills, batteries and so on, the way the worlds going anyway/BP, sees it/has invested allot into renewable energy.
You don't NEED to leave your house to work, unless you work with a physical product.
Also your house most likely has more, than anywhere else anyway, meaning I have, computers/gaming consoles,tvs/monitors,blurays,internet/streaming services, such as Netflix,Hulu,Hbo,starz, books, pdfs and physical books, and so on, I have workout equipment, hair clippers.
I really have, no need, to leave my house, doordash/walmart/fedex/UPS/USPS/Amazon, deliver, what ever I need, and I also keep things stored, as well, JUST IN CASE.
Honestly to go out, is A LOT MORE, inconvenient, than staying home.
Other concerns/things, people have asked/my answers, to other issues, people have talked about:
I would prefer kids to be able to live a long life/SOME sacrifices are needed.
Also Vitamin D supplements is an option.
I have air purifiers/filters in my house/the air in my house, is definitely allot cleaner, than whats outside.
I also have a treadmill/a full gym,but work out bands are an option, mine go up to 1000pounds/resistance.
I'd prefer lives to be saved/a few sacrifices are worth it, to be honest.
Honestly nothings wrong with kids going outside, in their back yards, also ZOOM/Skype,Google DUO,Facetime and so on, is available for friends and family, ALSO, if you get your family to quarantine, for 20 to 30 days/not go out, for that period of time, they can stay with you or vice verse, meaning contact doesn't have to stop, if all rules are being met/your not exposed.
Also MOST kids are involved/doing virtual learning, right now/some were doing this, before any of this, and as long as the rest, of that family is doing the same/working from home, their safe as well.
Granted, SOME cases of Covid are asymptomtaic/SOME people can have covid and never show any signs, but at the same time, 30 to 40days SHOULD be long enough, not to worrie.
Also, regulations SHOULD be made, with in business, to prevent job loss/SHOW/Inlighten, companies/show them how business is done, in todays day and time/show them how the digital world works.
If your an essential worker/someone that works in a warehouse/grocery store/stocker/unloading trucks/fills orders/ANY of the jobs/types of jobs that I mentioned, than, YOU SHOULDN'T LOOSE YOUR JOB, ANYWAY.
Also SOME jobs/services AREN'T black and white, MEANING, SOME JOBS, MAY be essential, so an appealing process/through court/Zoom, SHOULD be available, to people, with no cost, to the person applying for it.
If you work in a restaurant/fast food, than, MAYBE one day, the food/bar industry will bounce back/after the Pandemic, SOME people are still using Uber Eats, I'M NOT, but SOME people are.
Also Salons/Barbershops, is ANOTHER industry, that is NOT essential right now.
Also entertainers/entertainment/big gathering and so on, are NOT essential.
You could also check out door dash/Instacart, IF your in the food/restaurant industry.
For these type workers, waiting for stimulus, is about all you can do, or like i said switch to door dash, or something like that/look at whats viable RIGHT NOW.
This is another reply/answer/ other parts to the solution/problem:
definitely the biggest problem, and thats where the military needs to step up/step in.
Also it is really easy to transfer any business over to complete digital, atleast when it comes to the payments/transactions/deliverie, parts of the business. Parts of the business, MAY not be digital though/ certain parts, MAY, can't be digital, such as the parts of the business, that work with a physical product, those are essential workers, grocery stores, shouldn't be open, to the public, but their workers are definitely essential, to unload trucks, stock shelves, prepare orders, for pick up, either by customers, that have to sit in their car, with the trunk open, or doordash/instacart drivers/deliveries or to a spot/person/bicycle.
To do this for SOME people, kiosks, installed outside walmart, so people can put their orders in, and they would be cleaned, periodically as well and sanitizer dispensers would be available as well.
Also this is what servers/VOIP/E-mail/portals/websites/apps/Skype or zoom and so on,are for/these tools allow ANYONE to work remotely.
Unless your business is already broken/your using paper/envelopes/stamps/Ink/printers/huge filing cabinets/paper calenders, huge adding machines/have no online presents/website/server.
In this case, you will SOON turn into Sears,Kmart,ToysRUs,Sports Authority,Hifi Buy,Circuit City, AND SOON GameStop.
We now have the ability to pay our bills through apps/setup auto pay.
We bank through apps, we can even deposit checks through apps, but most things are direct deposited, now days anyway, and if you use a check, MOST OF THE TIME, its handed back to you, after your transaction, and is baisicly ran as a debit/the money is taken out of your account, at the time of purchase/right away.
Anyway things are done A LOT MORE EFFICIENT, NOW DAYS.
The hardest part, is definitely going to be, the part, where the government, NEEDS, to enforce all of this and issue fines and FUTURE jail time, but at the moment, issue the digital fines and escort them back to their homes.
Court now days, is also done through zoom/digitally.
Anyway ALL of this is definitely doable, and the Military/government needs to help the people, that cant take care of them selves/that don't have access to water/ food to eat/a place to live, also do this safely as well/with the proper PPE gear on, gas masks, with the right filters/the virus protecting filters.
This would definitely help A LOT.
Also this is ONE thing, I didn't mention, I believe in rights/everyone should be able to choose, UNLESS, someone is being hurt, other than the person that chose to do something.
I think spreading covid/infected people/potentially killing old people/technically any aged person, is not right/as long as your not hurting anyone, than, I believe that people have the right, to do, what ever they want.
Also another issue, thats been brought up A LOT:
Mental health is an issue, but like I've also stated, to quarantine/be safe, you don't have to isolate AND DEFINITELY NOT FOREVER, meaning, you can be with people, as long as either, you were together, since the beginning, OR two, both people isolate them selves for 30 to 40 days.
You still have skype/zoom/entertainment/the ability to workout from home, ALSO a back yard or like me, allot of property to walk on/look around/enjoy/you can still go outside, I have fences and gates, so I don't have to worrie about people walking up/driving up on me, but ALLOT can be done from home.
The issues with suicide/abuse and so on, WERE MOST LIKELY ALREADY an issue with these people, BEFORE, ANY OF THIS, this just probably brought it out MORE/showed the issues in their relationships/minds, that were there, before any of this, meaning, being around a person for long periods of time/not having alone time, CAN/COULD cause problems, I say to that, EVERYONE, needs a place, where they can go and relax/unwind/decompress.
I have a few places like that, my man cave/gaming area, my projector room, where I can game or watch movies, my gym, I also have my office, and thats where I work.
My wife has her office and her arts and crafts room and a lady cave/where she can game, watch movies and decompress.
Mental health is a problem, but its a separate problem/an existing problem, IN MOST CASES.
Zoom/skype/Google DUO/facetime, CAN/COULD definitely be used to talk to a therapist, it might not be ideal, but it CAN definitely help.
Also if abuse is the issue, MAKE A PLAN/contact authorities discreetly/I know that can be a hard/a tricky situation.
I'm not saying mental health isn't real, but MOST LIKELY, it was already an issue BEFORE covid, anxiety or what ever it might be.
Therapy/medication OR a mental health facility, MAY be whats needed, for that.

Enough for daughter and family as well as self and pets for four or more years! If one shops at Grocery Outlet or similar there is no need to collect coupons, they do not accept them. And, their prices are 50-75% less than regular grocery stores. Have a 'working pantry' as well as short and long-term storage. Be prepared for long term power outages, have generators that use petrol and/or solar power. Everyone can grow sprouts in the kitchen, to supplement fresh salads. If folk are not prepared now, they are making a big mistake.

Never depend on the gov to help you when things go wrong. Gov should always be your Plan B or Plan C for that matter. we're in Ny and when the schools closed in spring, the kids who depended on the schools for food didn't get it in most instances. In our district, they did a food pickup for the kids. The state decided a few months later to give money to makeup for that loss for low income and disabled kids, but I know families who still haven't gotten that money. I feel a little guilty, because my kids received from the district and the money from the state due to their disability status, and they received it as part of the first group to get help, but my family wasn't financially hurt by the situation. So many lost their jobs and haven't received this yet. the money went on a card and I spent it in the first month figuring it was best to use it right away and my kids were thrilled to get frozen pizzas and treats they hadn't had this spring and then I bought foods that we use a lot but will last on the shelf a long time. Try not to plan on government help, but if it's offered take it and use it to make a security net for the future. That money was a good learning tool for my kids, they told me what food they wanted me to spend it on and then they were involved in the decision of how to use the rest to add to the pantry. It didn't come as cash, it came on a card useable solely for groceries, with a few exceptions on types of groceries that could be spent on. It was also eye opening to see cashiers comment and to see what families on food stamps/snap experience.

All good advice. I would like to expand on the medications point a little. Your doctor may be willing to write you an additional prescription for 30-90 days to be paid for out of pocket. The cost may not be terrible if you use a generic. Don't even ask for this with meds for mental health or prescription pain relievers, as it will get you flagged as drug-seeking. A pulse oximeter will also be helpful if you get COVID-19 or any other breathing problems.
Get some easy-to-take vitamins and minerals, such as gummies; they will dissolve in your mouth if you don't feel like chewing, and they taste pretty good.
Plan to be sick as well as you can. It sounds strange, but I was careful -- masking everywhere, staying in unless I had to go to the grocery or pharmacy, washing after every contact -- but I still caught it, likely from an unmasked neighbor or at the pharmacy. It was a mild case, so I was able to treat mine with OTCs, fortunately, but I still have post-acute symptoms, which are slow to go away. Easy-to-prepare, familiar food that you can microwave, eat out of the package or throw together from a box mix makes the difference between eating and being hungry because you're too fatigued to do much more than sit or lie in a lump. My go-tos were nachos, dry fruit, ramen and canned pasta, drink mixes for water, and jugs of fruit juice. My roommate and I also ordered pizza a couple of times, which is pricey but also helps.

We are in Ny, we were told that it was essentially a state wide quarrentine in March but there was never an official restriction on travel, etc. Officially more things are allowed to be open again, but stores are still having shortages or limited supply on shelves so things for us haven't changed much since March. The realization that it's ongoing has changed things in that I'm grocery shopping again where I didn't do that in March and April. But most of us in this area have the possibility of a firmer shutdown for longer in mind. If my son's eating a lot of oatmeal (like he is this week) then I'll go to the store and buy enough oatmeal to replace what he ate plus give a week supply of his favorites and a couple extra boxes of varieties other family members will eat. I only get the extra boxes if the shelf is full of oatmeal though. When we make pancakes we make 5 batches and freeze them so the kids can get them easily in the morning. Cereal's going faster than normal so it's become a weekly instead of a monthly buy. I'm also trying to make 1 or 2 crockpot meals that will give us several meals of leftovers a week, to make it easier to grab it when needed. In the spring, school only sent home homework but classes ended. Now school is remote and very scheduled for classes and my husband's working at home; so now some days I only need to serve lunch twice because family members can eat together, and some days everyone is eating at a separate time due to schedules. We added soda for the caffeine and mood boost. We're taking advantage of the candy sales to put aside some of those and give them as a treat to the kids or to give a boost to my child who is struggling with a full day of school and 4 or more hours of homework a night. Preparing for March, I thought survival without needing to go to stores. Now, I think of making it more bearable for everyone. Bought some more board games but have been too busy to play them.

If you don't have a membership to Costco, find a restaurant supply store near you that is open to the public. Here in Oregon we have Smart Foodservice. If you shop there for even one item a month, you should discover that a 25 pound bag of rice is not much more that a 1 or 2 pound bag. If you are able to pressure can, you could buy a chunk of meat to can for later (they have great prices on meat). Don't buy cans of stuff that are the same size as grocery stores though. "God" is pagan name, it's from the name Gad, Gad in the bible was a Babylonian God of fortune. Google it! The real Creator YHWH l believe may have been an Extraterrestrial that came to earth thousands of years ago, and according to the Bible's book of Revelation will be back again one day.
Isaiah 65:11 But ye are they that forsake me the Elohim YHWH, that forget my holy mountain, and prepare a table offering for Gad, the god of fortune.
I'm so happy that some Christians have finally added the Hebrew word for "god" and "gods" which is "Elohim" to their Bibles.
Berashit (aka Genesis) 1:1 In the beginning ( the) Elohim created the heaven and the earth.
Bereshit (aka Genesis) 1:26 Then Elohim said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness👽.
      Genesis 3:8
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Elohim YHWH as he was WALKING in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Elohim YHWH among the trees of the garden.
      Yechezkel (aka
Ezekiel ) 1:5 ...within it 🛸 was the form of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: They had the appearance of man ( human) 👽
Jesus may have been an Elohim Extraterrestrial, Son of the ET Elohim YHWH 👽
John 10:36 Jesus said "I am the Son of (the) Elohim YHWH" 👽🛸
      John 8:14 Jesus " l am not from this world " 🌍✨
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto Jesus, "You are My Lord, and my Elohim"👽.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended🛸 to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend🛸 unto my Father, and your Father; and to my Elohim, and your Elohim👽.
Acts 1:9-10 Now when Jesus had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up🛸, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. They looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up🛸
      In our Future...
Revelation 21:2 l saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem ( Spaceship🛸), coming down out of heaven from YHWH Elohim 🛸👽
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! Elohim YHWH dwelling place🛸 is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and Elohim YHWH himself will be with them and be their Elohim.
The truth is finally being revealed! And the truth shall set you free! 🛸👽😁👍
